" So what d'ya wanna talk about ?" Nash asked shutting the door behind me 

" Where do I start Nash" I said lifting my hands and then letting them drop at my sides

" Look I'm sorry about last night, I was drunk" 

" Oh that's your excuse !?" I said letting out a sarcastic laugh

" Yes ! You know I would've never done that sober, and especially wouldn't have called you that if I was myself.." he said giving me an apologetic look 

" Okay, okay I forgive you, but I also came by to see if you're okay" 

" O the punch you mean ? Yea I'm fine but ya know I kinda deserved it"

" Can't argue with that, but uh one more thing" 

" Wait before you change the subject I just have to say one thing"

" Ooookaaayy" I said skeptically 

" Violet I can't stand that you're not in my life anymore" he said stepping closer to me

" Well Nash I didn't WANT to leave you're the one who cheated !" I said taking a step closer 

" We were on a break !" after he yelled that he stopped and took a breath, " Look I know you probably don't want to date again, but I would really like to at least be friends " he said a lot calmer 

" Yea" I said slowly, " Yea I would uh like that" I said confidently with a smile 

" Great.  Great !" he said flashing a toothy smile, " Oh what was that last thing you were going to say ?" 

" Oh yea, um, I was actually wondering if I could take Shelby back home with me ?" 

" Uh I guess" then he called her over to where we were standing

" Well I guess we'll just have to co-parent her now" I said kneeling down and playing wit her a little before I picked her up, " Anything I should know about before I take her ?"

" She has a vet appointment tomorrow at 1" 

" Well if that's it then I should probably be heading home" I said heading over to the door with Shelby in my arms 

" Alright " he said standing in the door frame as I walk down the stairs, " And Violet" he called and I turned around, " Thanks for coming over tonight" 

" It was my pleasure" I said with a smile then continued to my car, I put Shelby in the passenger's side and got in the driver's seat. When I got to my apartment complex I checked my phone and saw I had a missed call from Jc, and I told myself that I would call him back when I got in my actual apartment, but as soon as I got in my room I crashed and totally forgot to call him back. About 2 a.m I got a phone call from Kian..

" Hm ? What ?" I said groggily 

" Violet ! Violet ! You need to get down to the hospital now !" he yelled in the phone 

" Why !? What's going on Kian !?" I said already getting out of bed and really just throwing something on and slipping some slides on

" Jc was in a car accident.." when he said that my heart dropped. Like literally I immediately felt sick.

" W- What.." I croaked trying not to break down 

" He'll be fine, but I just- we all just need you here"

" Okay I'm leaving now" I said and ran out to my car, worried sick. My mind was thinking a thousand thoughts, my heart was beating a hundred miles per second, but I was trying to drive as safe as possible.
