- After the Movie -

" Okay, but she slapped him in the face !" I said laughing about a scene from the movie 

" True, but he deserved it" he said also laughing 

" Alright fair" I said as we got back in the car, " Okay so where to now ?" 

" It's a surprise" I just smiled and shook my head. I was already having a great time on this date, Taylor is so fun to hang around, but I felt this nagging pit in my stomach probably from the whole Jc thing. 

We pulled next a familiar park that I went to, to walk my pets. 

" What're we doing here ?" I'm not sure if that sounded rude, but he didn't seem like the type of guy to take a girl to a park 

" I just thought we could walk around, talk"

" I would love to" and him being the gentlemen came around and opened my door for me

" So anything specific you have in mind you want to talk about ?" I asked him as we started on a cemented pathway, hands inter wined 

" Not really, but I did want to thank you for asking me out" 

" I can't believe you said you didn't think you had a chance with me, you should really give yourself some credit you are a pretty great guy" 

" It's just I know you have a lot of guys pining over you and I didn't think you would notice me.. like that" 

" Yea I know I definitely have boy some problems, but what kind of person would I be if I didn't at least give you a chance" 

" I know and I appreciate that you let me take you out tonight, it's been a good first and last date" I stopped

" What ?" last ?

" Look I like you, but I know you like Jc" my heart stopped, I felt bad but also surprised on how he knew

" Taylor I-"

" Don't feel bad, you can't choose who you fall in love with" 

" Taylor I like you.."

" I know, but it's different from how you feel about Jc"

" How- how did you know ?" 

" I can tell the way you look at him.. and the way he looks at you" 

" I'm sorry" I choked out 

" Don't be" he held my face in his hands, " Just go and tell him how you feel" I could tell how much this hurts him, yet he still did it

" Thank you" I said as I hugged him 

" Go getcha boy, I'll be here being the supportive best friend who's in love with you" he said joking a bit 

" I would love for you to stay my friend, but you have to move on and find the girl out there for you and you can't stay hung up on me" I said sweetly 

" Alright"

" Promise ?" 

" Promise" and we pulled out of the hug, " Now go" he said with a small smile. It was settled I'm gonna go and get the guy I love.
