CHAPTER 1: A heartbreak and a bet made the new Mia

I did not used to be like this- a terrifying gang leader and Mafia Princess. I used to be one of those girls who swoon over the campus heartthrob. I was once a sweet and kind girl, until he broke my heart. And so, I vowed to be different. I vowed to stop being a weakling. Now, I’m stronger and I would not stop until I complete my “mission”.

Hi! My name’s Carmia Sherri Montemayor, a certified popular girl and a boy magnet at my old school. I had a crush over the school’s hottest guy, and after three freaking years of swooning over him, he finally noticed me. Can you actually believe that guy? I was (and still am) one of the girls most desired by men!! I was too loyal to him, and yet, he still played on my faithful dumb heart. After two weeks of being together, I caught him cheating on me with some bitch who wore too much make up that she could pass as a clown. One thing I could not tolerate is dishonesty. That’s why I kicked him to the part where it hurts the most and then he started saying things like “I’m glad I cheated on you with too many girls!” , “You’re not worthy of being my girlfriend!”, and “All I ever wanted from you was your fucking virginity!”.

Of course I was too hurt by him that I started crying and went home immediately. With my good looks and pleasing personality, how in the whole wide world can that freaking guy cheat on me???! ME! Of all people! But that day, I swore to myself, as the sun being my witness, I would join my father’s Mafia family.

Si Denise ang nag-iisang anak ni Mr. Francisco DeNiro , ang Consigliere ni Papa (yung pronounciation niya yung pang-mayaman and sosyal ah!!)

* Consigliere- yung tagapagpayo ng boss ng Mafia. Pangatlo siya sa hierarchy ng isang Mafia group. Una siyempre yung Boss, tapos Underboss (boss ng lahat maliban sa pinaka Boss), Consigliere, Caporegimes (mga taong in charge sa mga grupo ng soldiers), at ang huli, ang Soldiers (workers/servants/alipores/tauhan of the family).

Oh yeah, nandito kami ngayon sa firing range namin, nagpapalipas oras.

Kinuha at sinuot ko yung head gear and eye protection glasses at saka pumwesto sa tamang posisyon. Kinalabit ko yung trigger at saka nagpaputok.

Napangiti ako ng nang makita kong sa gitna lahat tumama ang mga bala.

“AISHHH! Panalo ka na naman sa’kin Mia!! Ikaw na girl!” Medyo inis at pabirong kumento ni Denise sabay upo sa couch at inom ng kanyang cocktail drink.

“Hmmm! Sarap niyan Deng ah!” Sabi ko sabay agaw sa cocktail drink niya. “Painom nga. Naka-ilang rounds na ba tayo?”

“Bakla, pang-apat na round na yan. 3-1 ang score. As usual, ikaw ang winner. Oh siya girl, gagawin ko na yung parusa mo, idedate ko yung stalker ko!” =___=
