CHAPTER 16: DAKILANG EXTRA BA? KAIBIGAN NG BIDA? O BWISIT NA KONTRABIDA?
Mia’s POV
“Is that the new way to greet a friend you haven’t seen for over a year?”
“Maybe, maybe not.” Said by a voice in the dark. “Depends on how I want to greet you.”
“Still atrocious as ever, Amber.”
Amber giggled while Mia just smiled.
“Stop playing now, Amber.” Another voice came out.
Then, someone switched the light on.
Scarlet Flames can see clearly the triplets. Amber, with half orange dyed hair, seating on the desk, and the other two are on the couch.
“Bossy ka pa din pala, Sapphire.” Scarlet Flames commented while walking towards a huge painting hanging on the wall.
The last girl, Emerald, giggled. “Scarlet sissy, you know that would never change!”
Scarlet Flames’s smile widened even more.
Tumayo si Sapphire at tumabi sa kanya ngunit sa painting lang din ito nakatingin.
“When we moved back here, naisip naming isabit na yan diyan. Nakakamiss rin pala ang lugar na yan.” Ani nito.
Ang painting na nakasabit ay naglalarawan ng isang katamtamang laking warehouse na halos magiba na. Ang lupang kinakatirikan nito ay napapalibutan ng isang malaking ilog.
Isang napakagandang lugar.
Kung titignan sa labas ay tila napakapayapa dito, ngunit di lang nila alam …
Sa lugar ding iyon naganap ang madugong paglaban ni Scarlet Flames sa tinaguriang 7 Hell.
Lumapit na rin sa dalawa si Amber. “You called a while ago. Walang kang sinabi kundi dapat tayong magkita, then you hang up on me.” Kumunot ang noo nito sabay patong ng kamay sa balikat ng dalaga. “What’s the matter, Scarlet?”
With an evil smile, the terrifying gangster said, “I’m going to take the Royal Family of Gangsters down.”
