i whined, looking at myself in the mirror as i returned to mine and james' room, where he was sat on the bed on his phone, after i fell asleep whilst sunbathing.

"what's up, babe?" james asked.

"i'm sunburnt. i fell asleep on the sun bed." i poured and james chuckled, standing up and coming to hug me.

"ow." i whimpered.

"baby, i'm sorry." he kissed the top of my face, "sit down."

i did so, sitting on the edge of the bed as james grabbed the aftersun.

he sat behind me and gently started rubbing it into my back, soothing my burnt skin.

moving me so he could access a different part of me, james caringly applied after sun all over my body.

he kissed me softly, grabbing my waist and pulling me to sit closer to him, careful not to grab my sunburn.
