As Mia got on the bus, she saw Ria was smiling. Now Ria was not happy very often and even when she was she didn't always show it for fear of vulnerability. So Mia was naturally curious what had made Ria so happy.

Both girls had been getting the 45 minutes bus journey with each other for over 4 years, so naturally they were quite close. Not best friends, but close enough to have no secrets between them and close enough to know each other well.

"What's made you so happy?", Mia asked as she sat down in her usual place next to Ria.

"So you know how I've been talking to Ezra?" Mia nodded, she didn't know much about Ezra, but he was nice enough and she thought they made an unconventional couple.

After Ria explained what happened, Mia went into full fangirl mode. She squealed and shrieked, at the news.

"This is soooo cute, I ship it, damn I can't believe you didn't tell me last night", she said, full of excitement and they talked about it for most of the bus journey.
