ZAC'S POV:

It's been a few months. Were at our 3rd quarter of the school year. Gosh how time runs so fast! A couple more months and goodbye Freshmen year! Many has happened since then. I'm slowly getting into the junior varsity team which is amazing for me since I'm only a freshmen! Because of this I've been quite busy. Me and Kuya have been going home around 8 pm due to our hard core training and practice! Only a few more weeks and basketball finals are coming up!

Reality has been getting in its way lately. I haven't been continuously attending my morning classes because the team's excused to go to several connecting colleges and train with them. Our's was Jonson Gail College which is just several miles away from school. So yah.. I don't get to see Mara that often. And when I am in school, she's usually busy as well with the Scholastic Team. Mikaela said Mara and Ethan have been preparing hard for the competition. She said every lunch and after school, they'd go to the library and study with the other Scholastic members. Uh...that son of a bitch! He's getting to spend more time with her, while I'm in a different world worrying about basketball. Its like time is keeping us away from each other.

Gosh, I sound like me and Mara are together.😅 Well, I'm still hoping for it to happen though. But how will that happen if she doesn't even know what I'm feeling for her? The moment I met her, I thought this feeling was merely infatuation, but look at it now. That's it Zachary, man up! It's time you confess what you feel. Kuya: Zac!!! Bilis! Where late! We have to go to school!

Me: S**t! I'm late!(runs down the stairs)

Kuya: Bilis! Ang bagal!(stares at his watch)

Me: Since when did you care about going to school late?😂

Kuya: Since I have a new girl friend who's waiting for me in class!

Me: Hala sya! May bago nanaman!😏

Kuya: Hay.. whatever! Just get in the car!

I reached class exactly 7:58 am. Just two minutes to spare. I was glad we didn't have practice at Jonson's today. As I went into class, I was praying Mara would be there. I just wanted to have a little happiness, at least today. The moment I entered, her smile welcomed me.😍

Mara: Um.. hey morning! Long time no see ha!🙂

Me: Yah, sorry, you know morning basketball training😒

Mara: Haha well I'm glad your back.😊

Me: Same here😁

I was in complete shock.. we never talked that casual for a long time. It usually gets awkward the moment we start trying to having a conversation. But today, it felt right.
