I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. Even though summer has officially started, I still try to wake up in an early phase everyday. I don't want any time wasted.😅 It was a Saturday morning. I got out of bed and went downstairs for breakfast. The only person I saw was Mama and Manang.
Mama: Oh.. your up.😊 Breakfast?

Mama: Eh.. alam mo naman, he's running our business. They just had an urgent meeting. Sige kain ka na. I'll just prepare the laundry.

As I was eating my bacon and eggs breakfast, Manang approached me with a I know what's up face.
Manang: Nanliligaw pala ung Zachary sayo no? Kaya pala kung makatingin kayo sa isat isa sa salo salo nyo, WAGAS!😂

Manang: Ha? Zac- Jep Jep?? Paano?
Me: Ewan ko nga po manang eh. Siguro kase.. dati pumunta sila dito palagi, eh ngayon medyo iba ung lugar nila.. and yah.. we've grown already so hindi na namen matandaan ung dati.
Manang: Kaya pala! Pero alam mo.. ganyan kame ng asawa ko... dati.☺
Me: May asawa po kayo?
Manang: Dati nga diba!😂 He passed away .. kaya eto.. kayo na pamilya ko.
Me: Ow..😅 Baket po? Childhood friends din po ba kayo?
Manang: Not just childhood friends, we were childhood sweethearts. Ganyan na ganyan kame. Super close, tapos biglang umalis sya, tapos bumalik naman din. And ayon.. we got married.. pero 10 years ago I lost him. Car crash.😔
Me: 😢Manang naman! Pinaiiyak nyo ko!
Manang: Ah.. basta. Boto ako dyan kay Zac! Pero tandaan mo, you'll know sya na yon kapag tumingin sya sayo na parang your the only person that makes him happy.😊 Pag ganyan sya, nako! Keep him!😂
Suddenly, during me and Manang's love convo, Mama comes in to join😆.
Mama: Oy oy, Ano to? Love nanaman ang topic?😂
Me: Eh.. si Manang kase eh!
Mama: I allowed you to do what your heart desires. Kase long time ago, my parents were so strict. They wouldn't let me enter a relationship with your dad, and that time I was already turning 30! Kaya when we decided to settle down, they had no choice but to accept because.I was already pregnant with you. Kaya I swore to myself when I have a child, I'll support whatever she wants to do with her life!😌
