ZAC'S POV:
F**K! First day nanaman.😒 Yipee, can this day get any more exciting? Just yesterday, I got a call from Coach that we have a team meeting today. Ngayon talaga kung kaylan unang araw ng klase. Pero di naman ako pwede mag reklamo. Ang dameng lalakeng pinapangarap ang position na to, I can't let them think I'm not worth enough.
Mom: ZAC!! Come on! Its 7:30! You'll be late for school!
Me: (going down the stairs) Mom, you do know school starts at 8 right?😂
Mom: I know, but.. you have to drop me to work remember? Nasa repair shop ung kotse ko. I won't get it by Friday.
Me: Right.. sige po. Tara na.
As mom and I walked out the door, my phone rang.
*Calling: Bia Ko❤*
Me: Yes? Who may you be miss ganda?
Mara: Hoy! Not today, I look so haggard! First day of school, and I look like a monster!
Me: Hoy! Hindi naman! Kahet na ba haggard ka, maganda ka parin sa paningin ko.
Mara: Asus, ang corny mo!
Me: No seriously.. natural beauty is still beauty diba?
Mara: Fine..fine. Anyways, papunta na ako sa school. I'll see you there nalang?
Me: Um.. about that.. may team meeting kase kame today, baka lunch nalang kung pwede? Libre kita.
Mara: Ah.. ganon ba. Sige.. lunch nalang. Sabi mo yan ha!😏
Me: Yup.. sige. Gtg na. See you.
I hung up, and went inside the car. Hinatid ko muna si Mom sa trabaho tapos dumeretio na ako. Pagka dating ko doon, it was only Samuel and Coach sitting.
Me: Uy.. maaga ata ako ah.😅
Samuel: Better early, ikaw panaman captain namen.😉
Coach: That's right. Team captains should always be early. Speaking of... Zac, I'd just want to faithfully remind you that as captain, you are the heart and soul of the team.. be aware of that.
Me: Of course coach. Di ko naman po makakalimutan yon.
Just then...
Wilson: Psh.. we'll see. Tingnan naten how this guy leads the team.
Samuel: The heck, your back?!
Wilson: Duh! Did you miss me?😌
If you didn't know.. Wilson is a Sophomore as well. Nagbakasyon ung pamilya nya sa Italy halos kalahate ng taon, kaya hindi na namen namalayan na nakabalik na sila.
Well, I can say he's a rich kid. His family is known in Germany as famous producers of high quality wine. Kaya his moto in life is: "Everything I want, I get."
What's worse? Kabayan ko yan. His mom's Filipino, pero I guess pati pagiging Filipino, kinalimutan na nya.😒
Magaling sya sa basketball, pero wala naman syang naitulog sa grupo. As a matter of fact, he wasn't even here during our finals. Now here he is, acting like the bida again.
