I walked back a bit, very shocked.
"L-L-Laurence... Wha-"
"Don't say anything."
I smiled, but the moment was ruined by Gene. He laughed and smiled, that evil, fricken, smile.
"Gene..." Laurence snarled. He moved in front of me, as to protect me. I rolled my eyes. Gene looked at me and smiled, again. Laurence, of course, saw the smile.
"Don't you dare think about it..." Laurence glared, red particles surrounded him. Gene laughed, he had mumbled something, but before I realized what he said, it was too late.
Laurence had turned into something worse then just a Shadow Knight. I don't even know what it was. When he did transform, all of the power pushed me back. I had fallen and watched in horror as Laurence ran towards Gene and Gene did nothing, he just stood there. I shouted, and that was a mistake.
