Chapter 13

Caitlin's P.O.V.

"This place is nice" I said as I walked around Derek's new loft "It's spacious. Definitely an upgrade from the old house and that old subway cart"

Derek laughed "Yea, I like it"

"But your uncle is staying with you? Uncle Peter right?" I asked. Derek told me all about Peter.

"Yea, he comes and goes"

"And here I thought you lived all alone" I said in a seductive tone.

Derek smiled as he approached me. He grabbed onto my waist and pulled me close to him. Our bodies touched then our lips touched. We kissed for a few seconds before I pulled away. I laid my hands on his upper chest.

"I should get going" I whispered.

"Yea you probably should"

We turned to see Peter Hale standing below the few steps. I cleared my throat and took a step back.

"You must be Caitlin" Peter said with a smile.

"Uh yea" I turned to Derek "I'll see you later" I began walking to the door "Nice to meet you" I told Peter before I walked out.

Once I got home I began walking upstairs. I heard muffled voices coming from Stiles's room. When my curiosity took over I opened the door and walked in. Scott, Stiles, and Isaac were sitting around the room talking. I knew what they were talking about.

"You guys still haven't found Boyd and Erica?" I asked as I still held onto the door handle. They've been missing since school was out.

"No" Scott said.

"What about your boyfriend?" Stiles asked me in a sarcastic tone.

I narrowed my eyes at him "He hasn't found them either" I walked out and headed to my room. I walked in and sat down on my bed. I felt bad, Boyd and Erica were missing. They didn't deserve to be taken.

My phone from my pocket rang. I looked at the caller ID before answering it.

"Hey Danny, what's up?" I answered.

"I just wanted to let you know we're packing up the car and gonna take off in a few"

I leaned my head back and groaned "Really? Damn I didn't think you were leaving today. Who am I gonna use as an excuse now?"

"I have a good idea, tell your dad" He said in an obvious tone.

"You see, now your just talking crazy"

"Cait, I'm telling you this because your my best friend. Derek is your boyfriend so tell your dad that the two of you are dating. It's time to meet the parent"

I sighed "You know I can't do that"

"I gotta go, but just think about it. I'll call you later" He said just before he hung up.

I let out a sigh. I had finally told Danny the truth about everything a few weeks ago. He took it moderately okay. He didn't really talk to me for a few days. Then he got over it and became my best friend again.
