Akihiko's POV

I lifted Misaki into my arms and carried him bridal style to our bedroom. I was a little worried about the stress Misaki was going trough but by the looks of it he would be fine. After placing him down and tucking him in I went back downstairs to talk to my best friend and Misaki's brother. Takahiro was sitting on his knees his head bowed down being scolded by his wife. "What were you thinking hitting Misaki like that. He is your little brother and he has been looking up to you ever since he was small. He helped us with the twins without complaint and even went as far as to breastfeed them for us. Do you even know how hard it was for him to let the twins move in with us?" she said. Takahiro looked up. "Well it's not my fault..."
"Of course this is your fault. He has been keeping to himself for twenty weeks and you know why. Because he was afraid of your reaction and with good reason if you ask me. I mean how could you to your own brother. Why can't you just be happy for him." Manami started raising her voice slightly. "Because he is not supposed to be..."
"Supposed to be what? Pregnant? Or are you still upset he married Akihiko when you almost forbid him. Remember he has a right to live his life like he wants to. I know for a fact he doesn't want to argue with you so when you hit him he thought you rejected him."
"What I would never reject him in any way!" Takahiro yelled standing up. "Well you sure as hell are doing that now. You know how Misaki is, he will always try to make you happy even if that means he has to put his own happiness aside. He has been going through hell when the twins came back to us. Akihiko had to help him out of bed and had to force feed him because he was just lost without them. You wouldn't know how that would feel because you are not a mother but let me tell you when your child is taken from you even by family you will feel like a part of you has been ripped away. Misaki has been through enough without you being difficult."

"I know how bad he has been but he was doing better this last six months or so. So why is it that he had to be p-p-pre... I can't even say it. You should know I want nothing more for him to be a normal man and have a family but..."
"Takahiro Takahashi if you don't apologize to him and make him believe you mean it I will not hesitate to keep you out of our bedroom."
"For how long?" Takahiro asked a smirk on his face.
"For as long as you don't apologize. And believe me when I say this. I won't give you any love, none what so ever and don't think I will take care of you either. Misaki means a lot to me and even if you are his brother I will take a side you wont like." Manami said crossing her arms and glaring at her husband. "I know you wont follow through with that threat since you love it as much as I do." Takahiro said also crossing his arms. "Besides Akihiko is my best friend but I never intended for him to marry my little brother. I just was glad when he was willing to take him in when we had to move for my job but now I regret that choice. I should have made Misaki leave as soon as I thought something was up but you persuaded me to leave it alone. And look where it brought us." Takahiro said. This was getting out of hand I had heard enough to make up my mind. "I would appreciate it if you two could keep your voices down. Misaki is sleeping he needs the rest." I said walking into the kitchen and standing beside Manami. Right now she was my ally in the battle against Takahiro. "Akihiko, I'm sorry I should have been more considerate." Manami said turning to me and bowing her head. "No don't worry about it. Misaki has been a heavy sleeper since he got pregnant. The only thing keeping him awake is the baby kicking. It seems that it hurt and even more so as with a woman."
"That's his own damn fault." I heard Takahiro mutter under his breath. I decided to ignore it but Manami turned back to him. "What is the issue here. Tell me what the hell is wrong with this situation if Misaki is happy." Manami demanded. Takahiro's eyes lit up with anger. "First of is the fact that he has married the worst possible man on earth. Second is he probably didn't even want to be pregnant but he made him because of his selfish behavior. And lastly Misaki should have never asked our parent to come home quickly." Takahiro's voice rose with each sentence. Manami was shocked by her husbands words. "What did you say there at the end?" she asked poison lacing her voice. Takahiro visibly flinched at her tone and took a step back. "Do you really mean all of that?" she asked taking a step closer. Takahiro seemed to shrink back a bit. "The first two yeah I did but the last was uncalled for." he said quietly. My temper rose and I exploded. "Damn right it was. If there is one person who is considerate that is Misaki. He always placed the needs of others before his own and even though he was struggling with his life and his problems he was even more worried about you and your little family he thought he could never have. Yes you heard me. Misaki begged me to think about children but I always denied him. But when he had to help you and your wife he was so happy. Even after the twins were born he was only concerned he did something wrong because they wouldn't eat. He thought it was his fault for not being more careful in that pregnancy with the infection. Even when they got back to you he couldn't stop worrying. Do you think you had it difficult try being Misaki for a change. He has always thought of himself as guilty for your parents deaths so don't you dare to say it is true because it sure as hell isn't. If there is one person in this world who deserves to be spoiled and giving every ounce of love in this world it's Misaki for he is to good for this world we live in. You can either apologize or get out of my house and never come back. Make your choice." I said seething with anger. Manami stood between me and her husband who stood in shock at my outburst looking from one to the other. "Dear what a situation this has become." she said walking over to me and patting my shoulder. "I would let him think about it for a minute because I don't think he has made a choice yet and after what you said his eyes has been opened. Come with me and let him be for a while." she said grabbing my hand and pulling me to the living room. I was breathing hard and unevenly and my arms trembled with pent up anger towards my best friend. I mean how can he be so heartless and cold to his dear little brother. I knew he didn't approve of our marriage in the first place but I thought he would come around after a while. Things even seemed to get better as time past but all that wasn't true he was still angry at me or Misaki I don't even know. "Akihiko...." the sound of my name made me come back to reality. "What?" I snapped turning back and looking at Takahiro. "Well... the way you protect Misaki is.... well I can see you love him very much but I only want what's best for him. Maybe you are right and he is happy with you but I would like to ask him again in private. Than I will make my choice." Takahiro said looking me in the eye. I thought about it for a bit then sight. "Fine but Misaki is sleeping right now so let him rest for a bit." I said. Takahiro nodded but then a soft voice made us all jump. "It's fine I'm already awake and you don't have to ask in private because my answer would still be the same. I love Usagi-san and I wouldn't trade him for the world. If you can't except that I like him and that we are starting a family of our own I would like you to leave, if you can except than you are welcome to stay the night." Misaki said holding back his tears. I was beside him even before he was done speaking supporting him with my body. I could feel just how weak he was from being under to much stress. "Misaki dear, please don't stress yourself out to much. Here come sit down than we can listen to each other." Manami said. Misaki shook his head than smiled at her. "Thank you Nee-chan but I want an answer and I want it now." Misaki said turning to his brother who was wringing his hands and looking from Misaki to me to Manami and back. "Alright I'll except it please Misaki just sit down. I don't like seeing you this weak." Takahiro said. Misaki shook his head. "No I want an honest answer not because of my situation right now." He said leaning more against me. His voice stayed strong but his body wasn't. "Misaki I meant what I said. I will except and I will support you and Akihiko from now on. I mean how can I not after what he said to me." Takahiro said. Misaki nodded then sighed and slumped against me. "Misaki, Misaki answer me." I cried as I felt his body slump. "It's okay Usagi-san. I'm just really tired." he said looking up at me. I breathed a sigh of relief and quickly pulled him in my arms. Walking over to the couch I sat down Misaki in my lap. He nuzzled his head in the nape of my neck and even before Manami and Takahiro sat down with us he was sound asleep. "That poor boy. That took way more out of him than he could handle." Manami said sitting down opposite me. "It will be alright wont it?" Takahiro asked. "Well it should with some rest." Manami said. They started talking to each other but I soon lost interest as I was looking at the brunet in my arms. His breathing was even and he seemed to be less stressed out. His sleeping face was so peaceful it almost made me forget what happened just moments ago. "Akihiko I think you should bring him to bed and than go to bed yourself. I contacted the baby sitter and she will stay with our boys tonight so we will stay here if that is alright with you." Manami said. I nodded my head. "That should be fine. Misaki invited you to stay didn't he. The only room we have now is his old room. So you can sleep there. Oh and don't touch anything medical in there, we need it for the check-ups and all." I said than I got up careful so to not wake Misaki and wished them a good night. They both wished me goodnight as well and then I was off to our bedroom. I placed Misaki down on the matras and after undressing crawled in beside him. Pulling him in my arms I buried my face in his hair and whispered and good night. The last I heard was a soft goodnight and then I was asleep.

Whoa, this chapter turned out to be much longer than I intended but oh well. Hope you all enjoyed the chapter. Please let me know what you think. Also I don't know any good baby names so if you have a suggestion leave it in the comments and maybe I can use it. Boy or girl doesn't matter because I still don't know what the gender will be.
