Lucy POV:

...warm...

I feel really weird...

*sleepy unwary fidgets*

Did I sleep without knowing...?

It was a hard night...

*Gentle face rub on...*

What am I sleeping in..? Feels so comfortable...

Am I..

Home?

*lazy hand rub to something hard*

This feels like an arm...

*Slow trailing down...muscle?*

This are.. Abs!?

*snaps eyes open to see her head layed on Alex's abs*

"Eeepp-!"

*Lucy jumps awake from the bed and lays afar beside to see Alex snoozing quieter than a mouse*

Normal POV:

The diclonius stated shocked with a sliver of a blush to the man who was fast asleep. She was embarrassed to have used him as a pillow after calming her nightmares down

'When did I sleep!? I don't even remember feeling sleepy!'

Alex gargled as he regained some consciousness. Lucy looked away in embarassment as she couldn't lower the blush she had

She didn't even have a slight clue why she was shy about

His eyes briefly opened, glaced over

She was a little nervous when he saw a face of dismay (for another reason) at her

"Ummm...are you okay...a-Alex?"

She looked at him

Alex raised his head minimally to get a view of her

He non-calantly looked at her without any expression, silently as if observing her if she had wounds. Then he just dropped his head and went to sleep instantly

"He's still sleeping!?" She whispered to herself, shocked that he was so sleep-deprived to just act inanimately

'Phew, almost caught me...snuggling against him'

She stood up and went to the bathroom to refresh herself

Akwardly she light stepped the carpet floor as she saw he truly deserved the sleep after dealing with her depressing BS (she hated to be emotional) and sailing the boat to safety

Inside it still amazed her how elegant it looked. She had been sulking, crying in this little room and yet it never ceased to get her attention

However the bathroom had one little inconvenience. The mirror.

Lucy looked away from it at all angles in order to never see the injuries she had. She felt as if she did, everything will come crashing down on her again

Worst off, the mirror would let her see the weak person she truly is. She blames herself of her family's tragedy day n night

She wasn't strong enough

Still isn't in her mind

But today she felt the need to look at it. She turned her head and looked at the mirror directly to her face

'I'm horrifying...'

All bandaged up she could tell the first aid did its job. Tenderly one by one Lucy took the bandages off, crumbling at touch to reveal a bloched face that belong to herself. How she hated looking at it. A shadow of her former reformed self
