11.Future past

Gazelle's POV

~Knock knock~
This time someone is actually knocking my bedroom door . And I know who it is . The person standing outside my room is feeling sad , depressed and regretful . It's my mom .
Without waiting for my reply she opened the door .
"Can we talk?" Mom asked
"Hmm" I nodded my head .

I just came upstairs after having a quite dinner downstairs with the whole family . At that time I felt like mom wanted to talk . She seemed impatient and quite. we haven't talked since yesterday's fight. I know my mum hit me but even then I know there is something else . She cares about me and maybe for my own good. I'm an idiot because I don't know what all went in my mind that I started talking back to her. I have never acted like this before.
Mom sat besides me on the bed.

" I'm sorry Gazelle...I'm so sorry "mom said . She is sobbing .

"It's ok mom ,  I'm sorry too ..I was .. being .. stubborn and..." I tried to explain

" No gazelle . It's all my fault. I was this close to casting a spell on you . My anger took control . I can't imagine what would have happened if I had used a spell to stop you from speaking . How can I even think of using any spell on my own daughter . "
" you didn't mom" I tried comforting her . I took her hand in mine . Just then I realised her left hand feels odd .

"Oh my god ! What happened to your hand mom?" Mom's hand is all purple and bruised

" oh it's nothing ..." mom said

" is it due to pain spell?" Oh god she used pain spell on her hand

" I deserved it. I hurt you with this hand " she sobbed

" mom ...no ....no.. you have every right to correct me , scold me and hit me ....once or twice . After all I was being a thick head" I cried and laughed at the same time .

" still,  beating is not justifying . what difference is there between me and that not wannabe mate of your. Both of us just hurt you ."mom said in low voice

"There is a lot of difference mom . See your here . And he doesn't care at all . Lets just forget . Who cares about him ! I don't. I won't " I said in a confidence voice

" I should have told you everything about your mate and ... most importantly your dad.." mom started

" you don't have to mom " I said

" no , you should know . I am being coward, hiding things from you . Your grandma always warned me from keeping things to myself. She said I should resolve it and talk about it rather then hiding it. But what can I do , I see some stupid future which is not exactly how it happens . "

I laughed at her frustrated comment . It's true she can see future but not all . She don't have any choice in it . She see some random things maybe some clips and then make her theory . Many times when the foreseen future comes , it turns out to be some other theory . But still mom always take precautions .

"So you believe that my powers are more trusted then yours " I teased her

She laughed at my comment and added " yes Gazelle. You see others feeling . No one can have fake feeling but they can fake there thoughts and make me read wrong things. Plus sometimes I see so unimportant future like what am I going to eat tomorrow . It's so meaningless. I wish I had your powers . "
