He's Being Weird Right?

Riley woke up before Roman which wasn't the strangest thing, Nikki left early this morning to spend the rest of the 5 hours at John's house, Riley got up and showered, getting ready for school, she needed to wake Roman up, she smiled sneakily and ran down the hallway

Riley tiptoed into Roman's room, hearing him snoring quietly

She smiled and went over to his side where he lay and jumped on his stomach

"Wake up Ro!" She yelled right into his ear

He groaned and tried to roll away from her but she didn't get off

"Wake up, wake up, wake up," she repeated, poking his chest

"Go away Riles," he moaned, pushing her away, but she knew he was smiling

"Fine, I'll be downstairs, making pancakes," she said, smirking as she rolled off him and he peeked one eye out of his blanket dome and looked at her

"Chocolate chip?" He asked, she nodded and he groaned and swung his feet so they touched the ground

"Give me 10 minutes," he said scrubbing one hand over his face and yawning, she nodded happily and skipped downstairs, to make what she promised him

They ate breakfast together, alone like they did every morning and then Roman had to brush out his hair, since he didn't brush it out last night, it was tangled, she winced as Roman tried to brush it out and tears brimmed his eyes meaning he caught a hard knot 

"Tuagane, let me," she said, going over and taking the brush out of his hand, pushing him to sit on the work seat, standing behind him and easily combed out his hair, rubbing some product in it, before taking a hair tie from around her wrist and being a girl, she quickly bundled his hair up into a bun

She stood up and went to wash the product off her hands and she quickly got her school bag and turned back around, to see him get his 

"I need to freshen up your undercut, now let's go," she said, grabbing his hand and yanking a chuckling Roman out the door 

"I hope dumb and dumber aren't coming over tonight," Riley said, looking at where a toddler, brother and sister were playing together on the swings 

"They're not coming over, but, I'm gonna wait back for them after practice then we're gonna play video games at Seth's place," Roman said, making Riley sigh 

"You okay tuafafine?" Roman asked, looking worriedly at her 

"Yeah, I'm good," she replied, forcing a smile, Roman saw through it,but nodded, deciding not to push it 

"I'm gonna meet up with Char and Niks, I'll see you later Ro," she said, giving him a brief hug before she left him with his mouth open and very, very confused 

Riley, Nikki and Charlotte sat at their regular table in the lunch room, after half a day of learning what Riley already knew 

Charlotte was shoveling a tuna sandwich into her mouth, while Nikki was sipping some apple juice and making small talk with Riley

"So," she began, Riley quirked an eyebrow and waited for her to elaborate

"Dean," she finally said, looking at Riley who just had a straight expression on her face

"What about him?" Riley asked, waving to Roman as he and the subject of this conversation walked in the lunchroom, Roman saw her and waved

Dean looked at where Roman was looking and his breath caught, yeah okay, he had a bit of a crush on his best friend's baby sister, but he was a badass, he didn't do 'love' or 'relationships' he did casual sex and get out by morning. That was his thing

He then followed Roman to where Seth was waiting for them at their table, occasionally glancing back at where Riley sat with her friends 

Not only did Charlotte and Nikki catch on to what Nikki was saying, they turned to Riley, who was staring back at Dean with a confused expression 

"He's being weird right?" she asked her two closest girl friends as she turned away as Dean glanced back 

"Oh yeah," Nikki said, while Charlotte nodded 

Riley sighed and looked down at her plate
