Decision Made

Riley was in the kitchen when Roman came down and sat at the island, leaning his chin on his palm and just staring at her, with a weird look on his face

"You okay Ro?" She asked and he gave her a contemplative look

"You do know you mean alot to me don't you?" He asked and she gave him a look but she nodded

"And you know that I love you alot?" Again, she nodded

"You're my baby sister Riley and it's my duty to protect you and look after you for the rest of our lives," he told her and she nodded

"It's heartbreaking that mom left, dad's never here, Matt left a long time ago," Roman said then laughed dryly

"You're all I have-" he said and Riley's breath hitched

"I dunno what I'd do if I was left wihout anyone," he said and smiled

"Thank god you'd never leave me on my own," he said and patted her shoulder before walking into the living room

Riley held the charm of her necklace in her hand, Roman and her had matching ones, Roman's was the moon and she was the sun, maybe far away, but one isn't one without the other and that's the kind of bond that Riley and Roman had

Now though, she was doubting herself, she thought that everything was falling into place, turns out everything just continued falling apart. She couldn't leave Roman.

She sighed and told Roman she was going to Dean's, she needed to tell Dean that she was staying with Roman

She made her way into Dean's house, he had given her the key when he had gotten injured so he didn't have to get up and answer the door with his bum leg

She walked up the stairs and heard him singing, then she heard the keys of his piano being struck and she furrowed her eyebrows and got closer, seeing him at the piano, back turned and eyes focused on the movement of his fingers and it was when he looked up at a picture frame and began singing

"105 is the number that comes to my head. When I think of all the years I wanna be with you- wake up every morning with you in my bed, that's precisely what I plan to do,"

"And you know one of these days when I get my money right, buy you everything and show you all the finer things in life- will forever be enough, so there ain't no need to rush but one day, I won't be able to ask you loud enough,"

"I'll say will you marry me, I swear that I will mean it, I'll say will you marry me?"

"How many girls in the world can make me feel like this? Baby I don't ever plan to find out, the more I look, the more I find the reasons why, you're the love of my life-"
