After two hours of driving, we crossed a sign reading;I cringed. Grady's Grove? This town had better not be as bad as it's name.
And my mum must have read my mind. "It's better than it looks, I promise."
She'd better be right.
Once we reached my grandmother's place, I gasped. "I knew it was a big house, but I didn't know it was a freaking palace!"
Mum laughed, "It's not a palace, M.J., it's a mansion. But still, I told you this place was great!"
And I had to agree.
