Chapter Four: Settling In

Chapter Four: Settling In, in Piper's point of view.

We were assigned rooms. I'm not that used to not sharing a room with just Girls. Why did Katniss tell her son to make our rooms for us? Maybe that's a costume in District 12. I never heard of District 12. But I guess they live here I didn't see a T.V.. I saw a glowing box on a stand, that would be a T.V. stand.

"So we all sleep in the same room?" Asked Hazel.

"Yep" answered Reyna. "I feel sorry for the boys, they have Octavian"

"I wonder where they're T.V. Is" I said letting the words poor out.

"Maybe it's in a different room" said Annabeth.

"I saw a glowing box, on a T.V. stand" I replied

"Ya never know" said Reyna as scanning the room. "Is this one" she said pointing at a box.

"Maybe, I don't know what it is" I said.

Reyna went over and tapped the box a couple of times. A holographic T.V. popped up. "Woah" She said surprised.

"Is that a T.V.?" Annabeth asked.

"I'll call for Katniss" Hazel Said, and she called for her.

Katniss ran up stairs. "What?"

"What's this?" Asked Annabeth

"That?" Katniss said pointing at the box. "That's a T.V."

"Oh we didn't know that" I replied.

"May I ask, where are you from?"

"Oh we're from the U.S." I replied, as for like it was obvious.

"In..."

"North America?" I said realizing it wasn't obvious for her.

"That's dead and over from the war..." Katniss said puzzled. "Why? And How? So..." She said.

"I guess Leo was right, we did travel through a magic portal." Hazel said. "Into the future?"

"What? Magic isn't real"

"I would think everyone would know about the Gods in the future" I mumbled.

"What?" Everyone said in unison.

"LEO!!!!" I screamed, not called, screamed.

Leo came rushing in. "Did something break?"

"Leo you were right," I said.

"With what?" Asked Leo

"Katniss, can you leave the room?" I said turning on my charmspeak.

"Okay" Katniss said, and fled the room.

"Leo, we did travel through a magic portal." I said my voice cracking. "Into the Future"
