Episode: Season 6 - Caged Heat Pt. 2

The four of us headed to Crowley's prison after that to go after him when Meg showed up to help. Unfortunately though, a pack of Hellhounds was let loose after us. We managed to close the doors on them in the hallway but it wouldn't hold them off forever - we could hear their loud barks and gnashing teeth through the metal. I grabbed Dean's hand instinctively as the door jarred beneath their paws.

"I knew this was a trap," Dean grumbled, eyeing the doors.

"What do you want, a cupcake?" Meg asked him sarcastically.

A snicker emitted from my mouth and Meg grinned over at me just as I let go of Dean's hand.

"Oh, finally. Someone who enjoys my humor. About time," she said happily.

"You know, I think we're going to get along really well," I admitted and she nodded in response, "Plus, I love your hair!"

She smiled, picking up the ends of it, "Right? I got it done in this great beauty salon in-"

"Guys!" Dean interrupted, shaking his head, "Not the time for that. Or any time for that, I hope..."

I rolled my eyes, huffing slightly.

"How many of them are there?" Dean asked her.

"Lots," she smirked with a shrug before turning to me, "I'll be pulling for you from Cleveland,"

Dean frowned, "What?!"

"Well, I didn't know this was gonna happen. Bright side - them chewing up my meat-suit ought to buy you a few seconds. Seacrest out,"

She opened her mouth then, head tilting back but nothing happened. Meg frowned, exchanging looks with the three of us.

"It's a spell, I think, from Crowley. Within these walls, you're locked inside your body," Cas informed us.

Sam retrieved the demon blade from his back pocket then and Dean frowned at his brother..

"What are you gonna do, you gonna slash thin air until you hit something?" he asked sarcastically.

But instead of using it himself, Sam handed it over to Meg, "You can see them. Take this. Hold them off. It's our best shot,"

"At Crowley," she said, eyeing it once, "Take it and go. You kill him. I'll hold off the dogs,"

"How are you gonna do that if-" Dean started to ask but apparently, Meg had other things on her mind.

Before we all knew it, she had Cas pinned to the wall, her lips connected to his. Her hand slid inside his trench coat, gripping his side just before she pulled away from him. The poor angel looked slightly confused but there was an emotion in his blue eyes I couldn't place as he pulled Meg back to him, turning her around to slam her against the wall. He crashed his lips into hers, kissing her roughly with her arms wrapped around his neck and his fingers running through her dark hair. I put a hand over my heart, smiling at the two of them.

"What was that?" she asked when they pulled away.

"I learned that from the pizza man. And Luke Skywalker," Cas admitted and I laughed out loud.

Yay! I had finally made Cas a nerd.

"Well, a-plus for you." Meg smirked up at the now-blushing angel.

We left her then to go find Crowley and Dean glanced at me, arching an eyebrow at the smile still on my face as I thought of my new friend and my angel - together.

"What?" I asked, shrugging slightly, "I ship Megstiel, okay? They're adorable!"

Dean said nothing, sighing as he shook his head in bewilderment at me. But things didn't go as planned after that - Samuel betrayed us and locked us up right after he sent Castiel away. And poor Meg got captured. Thank goodness though, we ended up escaping our cells and busting Meg out as well. We lured Crowley into a room once finding him and Sam demanded he give him his soul back. But he didn't say anything helpful - only that if Sam got his soul back, it would likely be broken and destroy him.

But what happened next, shocked me. Castiel showed up with a bag of Crowley's bones - his real bones, that is...and he torched them. Flames engulfed Crowley and I stepped back, watching it all as my father was burned alive. Afterward, all that was left was his ashes. Dean gathered me into his arms as I looked away, breathing shakily. The demon who was my father was now gone but instead of feeling happy and relieved like I'd imagined...all I felt was a gaping hole in my heart.

A hole that maybe, unknowingly, I had allowed Crowley to enter. But now, never, I feared, to return.

Note: No Megstiel hate, you got me? ;)
