(A week later - Grayson's pov)

"Ethan! I'm going to Brooke's now, see you later!" I yell up to Ethan.
"Okay bro! Good luck," he yells back.

I smile to myself and pick up my keys.

This past week Ethan has been helping me plan a romantic evening with Brooke. I'm nervous for it, but excited as well.

E suggested to write a letter about from when I first started to fall in love with her, so I did. He also suggested to scatter candles around her house and order take out, so that's what I'm going to do.

She should love it.

I climb into my truck and head over to Brooklyn's house, which should be empty.

I pull up outside her house and get out of the truck. I run my fingers through my hair and go to the trunk. I open it and carry a box of little scented candles to the door.

I place them down, get the house key she had given me a while ago and unlock the door.
"Brooklyn?" I call out, quite loudly, just double checking whether or not she was in.

There is no response.

I smile to myself and pick up the box again. I walk in and place the box on the kitchen counter.

I do this until all the boxes were placed beside each other. I lock my car and enter the house again, shutting the door behind me.

I look around and open a box, starting to unpack all the candles one by one.

I make a trail, leading from near the front door to the stairs, making sure there was a kind of path. I then put some going up each step, I grin to myself as I do so.
"I hope she'll end up liking all this," I mumble to myself.

I flop onto the couch after finishing, it's been one and a half hours. I yawn and pull out the letter from my pocket.

I read through it, making sure it makes sense, and then pick up my phone. I click onto Kelsey's number and text her, letting her know that Brooke could come home now.

G- Hey, things are all ready here. You can make up an excuse for B to come home now :)

Ethan had gotten Kelsey to help me out with this plan as well. Brooke has gone with Kelsey to the mall for a girly day, the basic stuff.

(Kelsey's pov)

I get the text from Grayson and grin, Brooke was going to love this surprise.

I quickly turn the grin into a frown, readying myself to make up an excuse to go home so Brooke would too.
"Awwh Brooke, I've got to go. I'm so sorry my mother needs help with dinner, I'll call you later!" I make up, while giving her a hug.
"Oh, it's okay," she grins. "Say hi from me."

"I will do," I say with a smile while jogging to my car. Thankfully Brooke lives just round the corner from the mall so it wouldn't take her long at all.

Once I get in my car I text Grayson saying that Brooke was on her way home. I smile and buckle up, pulling out of the parking lot.

(Brooke's pov)

I walk home, bags in hand. I pull my house keys out of my handbag and unlock the door, walking in and shutting it behind me.

"It's been ages since I've been home," I think to myself.

I look around my home and sigh heavily, not noticing the petals and candles scattered all over the place. Only noticing when I go to head upstairs.

I look down at the lit tealight candles and tilt my head slightly in confusion. I glance up the stairs to see the trail, most likely leading to my bedroom. I place my bag down and walk up slowly.

I grin at the prettiness and open the door to my bedroom, "Whoa."

"Do you like it?" I hear a voice say behind me.

Grayson.

I smile and turn to look at him, "I love it, but why?"

"Because I haven't been the most romantic boyfriend so I want that to change," he says, stepping closer to me. I wrap my arms around his neck, with him responding by placing his hands on my hips.

"You're sweet."

"I know."

I peck him on the lips before he lets go and pulls something out of his pocket, a piece of paper. I look at the paper and then at him. He hands me the paper and tells me to sit and read. I nod gently and sit on the end of my bed.

Grayson comes and sits beside me, looking at the paper as I unfold it.

I begin to read "Dear my love..". I look up at him, wondering what this is going to be about.

"Just read Brooklyn," he assures, with a warm grin. I look back at the paper, reading the handwritten words in the dimly lit room.

I've never read anything so perfect. It's perfect. He's perfect. Our love is perfect.

I tear up and then grin, I've not had anyone love me as much as Gray does. He makes me happy when no one else can, he's living proof that

"Love can change everything."
