"LAND AHOY!!!" Hiccup shouted.
Toothless growled curiously. He tilted his head.
"Oh, it's a saying. From Pirates, Mom use to tell them." Hiccup answered.
"So what does it mean then?"
Hiccup sat up. "It means there's land ahead."
Toothless shook his head and landed on the island. Hiccup got off and looked around.
They had landed on a cliff. About 150 feet above the sea. Moss hung down from the dull gray rocks. Below the cliff stood a huge dense forest. Birds, Deer, Chickens and Dragons were everywhere. Nadders were trick flying and Zipplebacks were fighting. Nightmares were chasing animals while Gronkles laid on hot springs, tempted to get off by pesky Terrors nipping everywhere. A friendly one even noticed Hiccup and Toothless and went to say Hello.
The terror crawled right up and purred.
"Hello little one," Hiccup started," I hope u don't mind us staying here for a bit.
Toothless (who had been chasing a particular vine) peeked up. "This island?"
"Why not? It's got food. Water. Dragons-"
"PROBLEM!"
"Friends." He finished. Toothless growled. "Aww come on bud. There not gonna hurt you...or me."
Toothless growled slightly but seem to agree a bit more. It's amazing what saying something that might totally not be true can do. He he that rhymes.
"Ok bud, we need to get cracking. First things First, a cave, shelter something." Hiccup climbed back in Toothless and they took off. Flying over the forests and into what seemed like a mountain range.
"This looks good!" Was called excitedly from Toothless' back as they rode into view of a medium sized cave. "It's by a spring, sheltered from storm and rain, hidden fairly well by not so much we'll get lost, and safe!"
"Well then here it is let's go to sleep now and sleep." Replied Toothless, tired of you couldn't tell.
