Medicine

Hello all, hope you're having an amazing. This is one for Shannon1300 . Hope you like it!!

It was 2pm on a Saturday, and I was sat reading a book at my house. Just then, Karen (my boyfriend Shawn's mum) calls me.

"Hello?"

"Hi Shannon, Shawn's really sick with the sinus thing and also has a migraine, but he won't take his medicine." She tells me.

"Aw poor Shawn! I'll come over and help if you like." One thing I know about Shawn is that he hates taking medicine, no matter how sick he is, he won't take medication. I quickly grab my keys and drive to the Mendes house.

I ring the doorbell and Aaliyah opens the door.

"Hi Liyah how are you?" I ask, walking in.

"I'm okay, Shawn's not." She leads me to his room, where I see Shawn with his duvet over his head, the curtains are shut and Karen is sat on his bedside with her arms under the duvet, probably massaging his head.

"Shawn, Shannon is here." Karen shakes him, getting up to let me sit. He peeks his head through the duvet, and he looks awful! Cheeks red and tear stained, probably due to the migraine, eyes puffy with huge bags underneath and face sweaty. I lay down with him and put my arm around him, he snuggles into my chest, moaning from the pain.

"Come here, I'll massage your head." I begin to rub circles on his head.

"I...feel s...so bad" he stutters before he begins to sob in pain, so loud that his mum came rushing in.

"Shawn love, what's the matter?" Karen sat at the edge of bed and held her son's hand, trying to calm him.

"You need to take your medicine honey, otherwise you won't get better." I tell him. He puts his hand over his mouth, and I quickly grab the bucket from his bedside table and he throws up.

"Have you checked his temperature?" I ask Karen. She shakes her head, leaving the room to get a thermometer. I reach out to grab Shawn's sinus medicine. I put one leg behind him and one infront, trapping him. I pour his medicine into the injection thingy. (A/N idk what its called but it comes with liquid medicines) 

"Drink. Now!" I say sternly. His mouth doesn't open. "Shawn, open your mouth please." Still, his mouth stays shut. "Right that's it." I pinch his nose. He'd have to open his mouth to breathe.

He gives in after a few seconds and I shove the medicine into his mouth, keeping his mouth shut by pushing his jaw. He would have to swallow.

"It's gone Shannon, I've swallowed it!" He lays his head down on my chest and closes his eyes.

"Thank you for taking that. But you have to take the migraine pill. And in order to take that you have to eat something." Karen then walks in with a bowl of mashed potato.

"I'm not hungry." Shawn lies, before screaming in pain. I wrap my arms around his head to try and block out any light, and to comfort him.

"Shawnie, you have to eat something so your headache goes away." I gently kiss the top of his head before helping him to sit up. I sit behind him, wrapping my legs around him so he couldn't move. Karen passes me the bowl. I take a spoonful.

"Open." He obeys me, surprisingly. I continue to feed him the mash. I put the empty bowl on the bedside table and Karen passes me his migraine tablets. This is gonna be fun.

"Here, just take this and you're all done." I hold his head up.

"No." He lies back down, head on my shoulder.

"No is not an answer. You're taking this even if its the last thing you do!" I almost shout, but stop when I see tears in his green eyes.

"Hun, please. For me. Take it, you'll feel so much better." I scoop his weak body into my arms as he cries in pain. One last try. I hold the tablet near his mouth. He takes it and I hold the glass of water to his face.

"Thank you, now you're free to sleep!"  He lays down on top of me, and wraps his arms around my waist, his head in the crook of my neck. I cover him up with a blanket and gently pat his shoulder, easing him to sleep.

AARRGGHH I LOVE CUTE SHAWN! The next request is also for Shannon1300 AND THE CONCEPT IS AMAZING SO I CAN'T WAIT TO WRITE IT OMG!! Xxx
