Kira's pov

I stood surrounded by flames. I was in a small village that was consumed by fire and soon I would be too. I needed to find away out and fast. hearing someone screaming I tried hard to listen to what they were saying but nothing  could be made of the cries.

Suddenly I was standing outside the village. The villagers ran around in the mess trying to put out the fire but it was to strong. The sounds of people screaming out in pain was surrounding. even the cries of children was loudly heard. As I moved to go help I was stopped by a barrier.

Suddenly thorn covered vines wrapped around my ankles. I fell forward as they pulled me away from the village. Tossing and fighting to get free I was dragged through the woods, and then I was standing on top a huge water fall looking out. The river stretched for miles and miles in both directions. Where there wasn't water; there was nothing but green trees and one bright orange and red one that stood taller than the others. Like Snow White and the seven dwarfs one did not belong.

Suddenly I was standing under this tree  looking up. As my eyes lowered down I noticed carvings in the tree. I felt as if I knew these cravings, but couldnt place how that might be. fast wind gushed by, blowing leafs down from the orange colored tree towering in front of me.

As I looked back up it came to me and I remembered Sokuta carvings. Sokuta carvings appear in dreams and can have great meaning if you can understand them. Suddenly there was a loud roar behind me. Upon turning I found a huge white beast, similar to that of a dog demon, breathing hot air down into my face.

I jolted awake. I was still laying comfortable on the forest floor nestled against sesshomarus side with his arm wrapped tightly around me. Letting out a small sigh I grinned slightly at the look of him sleeping peacefully. Moving my hand up from his chest I lightly traced along the marking on his face.

To my surprise he grinned. Opening his eyes he looked over at me then looked away again. I let my hands drop and rest on his shoulder. It felt nice to just lay here like this, but at some point it must come to an end.

After a while of lay together sesshomaru suddenly spoke shattering the silence "we should keep moving"

I sighed and jumped up to my feet ready to walk. We've been on a long journey for days and sesshomarus has yet to tell me where it is we're going or if there is at all a destination.

I silently followed him through the woods until I couldn't take the curiosity anymore.  "where are we going" I asked

"there" he said pointing out. I looked up and saw that we were standing high on top a hill. And out in the distance sat a large castle surrounded by the forest.

"where is that exactly?"

"home."

Sesshomarus walked down the hill toward the castle twisting and turning through all the tree as if he knew the path well. As we got closer to the castle I could see a barrier surrounding it.

When we reached the barrier sesshomaru grabbed hold of my hand. Walking through the barrier he pulled me through with him. On the other side the castle was much closer than it seemed.

Upon entering the castle we came face to face with a stunning woman with long white hair and striking blue eyes. She locked eyes with sesshomaru staring long and hard. I couldn't help but glance between the two and wonder who she was. Sesshomaru solemnly nodded at her then placed his hand on my back and lead me way.

"stay here I have problems to resolve I'll be back shortly" sesshomaru said quietly as we entered a small empty room.

~~~
I sat in the middle of the small room trying to focus and meditate. But everytime I cleared my mind I would jump back to wonder who the woman we saw when we entered the castle was, and what  sesshomaru was doing that required me to be left here for so long.
As I finally began to get a hold on my thoughts I heard the door slid open. I jumped to my feet as sesshomaru held out his hand from the door way. I stepped forward took his hand and let him lead me down the hall.
We entered a room with a large table fit to hold 20 or 50. At one end there was a beautiful woman with long snow white hair and glowing golden eyes with a moon on her forehead. The same moon as sesshomaru's. Next to her sat the woman from earlier. I couldn't help but wonder who they were.
"I see you brought a half breed for dinner" the woman with gold eyes said looking harshly at sesshomaru.
Sesshomaru glared back before turning to me. "this is my mother and sister"
I looked at the two women. His sister nodded her head with a small smile as his mother stared without emotion. Sesshomaru sat at the opposite end from the two and I awkwardly followed.
After a very quiet meal sesshomaru escorted me off to the room we were staying in. I sat down upon entering the room finally removing my weapons. I sighed in relief as I become 30lb lighter.
Suddenly my mind recalled my dream from this morning. I looked around and found a blank scroll and ink. I quickly began to scribble down the carvings from my dream. Sesshomaru loomed over my shoulder watching as I worked.
"Sokuta for love" sesshomaru blankly spoke, "where did you learn that"
"I saw it in a dream" I answered.
"interesting"
"what do you know about it" I asked filled with curiosity.
"the Sokuta language is used in many ways. It often shows a glimpse of the future"
"but why 'love'"
Instead of responding sesshomaru turned and went back to want he had been doing. I watched him silently for while before going over to him.
