I walk to the kitchen to find him talking to Marla and Angie.
When they hear me approach, they stop their talking, turning to stare at me.
"What? Do I have something on my face?" I ask worriedly, touching my face.
"Of course not baby, there's nothing on your face besides perfection," he says, kissing my lips softly.
"I have a surprise for you tonight. Go get ready," he smiles.
"Okay, I'll go get ready," I whisper, pecking his lips. I sprint into my room, closing the door behind me, grinning from ear to ear.
I turn back from the door to walk to the bathroom, screaming so loud when suddenly I see three people standing in my room with a smile on their face.
"What the fuck? You guys scared the hell out of me!" I yell as they just laugh at my surprised face.
"We just want to help you get ready for tonight," Angie shrugs, still smiling.
"Since when did you get in here?" I ask her in disbelief.
"It doesn't matter, right now, you go take bath," she says, shushing me when I open my mouth.
After I take a shower, I put on a casual dress and Angie starts doing my hair, Reen starts doing my make up, Cris starts doing my nails.
After all finished, I meet Nick at the front door. It all feels like a dèja vu, when I first go on a date with Nick for the first time. I hope tonight nothing bad is going to happen.
"Hey, you ready?" he asks softly, caressing my cheek with his thumb, pure love evidents in his eyes as he looks at me with those eyes that I love.
"I'm ready," I whisper, kissing his lips softly.
"I love you," he breathes, pulling me closer.
"I love you too," I say honestly. I can feel my heart beating fast in my chest.
Him. All I can think is him. He is my light, my hope, my world, he's my everything. I don't know what I would do without him. With him I feel happy, I feel loved, I feel alive, I feel complete. Since he came into my life, I feel my life has changed a whole new level, and I'm glad. I'm glad he is a part of my life.
