"...And that's the story of how we met," I finished.

"Sounds like you did it quite a lot," Ever said.

"That was boring," Issac piped up.

"How so, Issac?" Elliot challenged.

Issac brushed a lock of his hair back and cleared his throat. "It should've been more exciting with car chases, fighting, and stuff. Someone should've sky dived and ended up dead."

Elliot and I stared at our ten year old.

"Okay, then!" I chuckled and stood up. "Hot chocolate, anyone."

"Yes, please," Ever said and turned on the TV.

"Issac?" I turned to my son.

"Not too much, though," He answered.

I walked into the kitchen and opened the cabinets to get the cups out.

"You never asked me if I wanted some," Elliot whined, enetering the kitchen.

"That's because you never want any," I reminded him and got out the hot chocolate mix.

"Touché," He shrugged and hugged me from behind as I poured the milk into the cups.

"You smell so good," He murmured, nuzzling my neck.

I gasped as he kissed my neck and collarbone.

"The kids are right there," I whispered, setting down the milk gallon.

Elliot lifted his head and gave me a boyish grin.

"That's never stopped us from making out," He said.

"True."

Elliot picked me up and set me down on the empty counter.

"You have a gray hair," I said, touching his hair.

Elliot gave me a flat look in response. "So do you."

"Yeah, but you have more. You are pretty old."

"By like a year."

"Still old."

"Whatever, princess," He sighed, giving up. "Fine, I'm old."

"I love you," I told him with a smile.

"Love you, too," He said before leaning closer.

Our lips were so close to each other. They were just about to touch—

"MOM!" Ever and Issac hollered at the same time.

I groaned and pushed Elliot away from me.

"We can't even get five minutes to ourselves," I said to myself.

"We can send them off to military camp," Elliot suggested.

I gasped and slapped his chest.

"Elliot Avlet, take that back right now," I ordered.

"Fine. I love them too much to get rid of them," Elliot admitted.

"MOM! HE'S SITTING ON THE REMOTE AND HE BURPED IN MY FACE!" Ever screeched.

"DID NOT!" Issac shouted.

"DID TOO!" Ever shot back.

"DID NOT!"

"DID TOO!"

I sighed and trudged back into the living room.

"I thought we could some family time, but I guess it'll have to wait a couple days," I announced. "Go to your rooms, now."

"Yes, ma'am," They said and went upstairs to their rooms.

"The military camp option is still there," Elliot piped up.

"Shut up, Elli."
