Dan's POV

"I knew it."

"What?" She stopped tugging at the ropes.

"You'll never make it easy for me to catch you," I stated.

"Hun," she started with an American accent, "of course I won't."

That was the whole plan all along.

The Nightmare roughly squeezed the restraints around my bare chest, wrapping the brown stranded anaconda around the back of a pole, letting my lanky arms hang free from the ropes. She had taken my shirt off on purpose to give me the burning sting of rope that was tied too tightly around my body. In a situation like this, there was no room to be self-conscious of my body, but being Dan Smith, I was relieved that the thick ropes covered my upper body. The bristles of the restraints tickled at my pale skin as I felt one more tug, nearly kicking the air out of my lungs. Hannah came back around and smiled innocently as she cleared up the dead leaves and sooty spots from the empty tank.

Uh oh. That's a bad sign. She's going to do something...I think I know what she's planned out.

"Tell me, Daniel," Hannah tossed a batch of twigs over the glass observation wall. "Have you ever gone swimming before?"

"Why should I say anything?" I tried to wiggle in the ropes.

"Because," she walked over and slapped me in the cheek before staring me up and down. "Because, you're going to be a living and dead exhibition to the Orlando Sea World," a dark and shadowy glimmer of evil shone in her eyes.

     E-exhibition?

"Yes," she began, as if she had read my mind, "you'll be a another mammal trapped in the restraints of captivity."

"Maybe the tables will turn, and you'll be the one in the zoo cage," I smirked, receiving another stinging slap to the face.

Hannah scoffed before gently removing my askew glasses, all greasy and dusty from the action and drama of the car accident. She used the edge of her tee to clean it before sliding them back onto my face, stroking a couple stray strands of hair away from my eyes. It was fucking creepy that The Nightmare, the most notorious killer, was taking the time to care for me before carrying out her sick plan of killing me in this tank. It was even more unsettling due to the fact I didn't know the manner I was to be murdered in, and the thought of this made me fear for the grievance of my death. She strolled over to a weird looking pipe, a sign beside it covered with crumbled and messily taped paper. Her hand ripped it off to reveal a sign. A sign that I really wanted to cloud from my vision.

Water pipe. The red button is for stop. The blue one is for opening the gate for the water.

Fuck.

Where are you, Will?

Alicia's POV

"Wait, what?!" Crystal cried before a nurse bashed into the room from her false cry of distress.

"Sorry," I whispered to the side. "We're discussing a case," I sheepishly rubbed the back of my neck.

"Ah, that's alright, I understand," he tilted his head and smiled, leaving the room.
