Nick saw that his phone had ten missed calls from Kaela. He quickly called her back and she was panicking.

“Nick, Caleb Lee just died. There is someone who is going to kill us all,” she yelled into the phone.

“She nearly killed me too.” Nick was speechless.

“Who nearly killed you? How is that possible?” Kaela was screaming amidst loud chattering in the background.

“Stella Robbs,” he replied.

“I told you not to mention her name ever again,” Kaela did not believe him.

“I’m serious. She isn’t human.” He touched his lip. How was it possible that he could kiss her? He realised that she had kissed him on purpose and she knew fully well that he could not kill her. He was completely fooled from the start and the tables had now turned, the cards had shuffled and the trump card was in her hand.

“Talk to me later. I’m getting out of this place. It’s too scary in here,” she said before she hung up. There was an incoming call and it was Stephen.

“Sir, I am sorry to call you in the middle of your party. I thought that you wanted to find out about Micheal Owell as soon as possible. He wants revenge. If I am not mistaken, he and Miss Robbs are after your life,” Stephen said, “I’m going to kill them before they kill you.” Nick had not replied a single word when Stephen hung up.

Stella was going to kill Stephen. He called Stephen. There was no answer.

Brandon and Isaac searched Stephen’s apartment while Nick sought to find out where Stella had gone to.

“Why isn’t he answering his phone?” Isaac groaned, “I feel like we are in some kind of action movie.”

Brandon scoured Stephen’s laptop. It was filled with police reports and media reports, that ranged from Bently Aswald, Elizabeth Marcus, Stella Robbs and Ben Robbs. He opened the folder titled Micheal Owell. It was a good thing that Stephen was an organised person and had labelled all his files. Biography, birth certificate, newspaper report, income statement.... Brandon scrolled through the list quickly before chancing upon, “Hotel address.”

“Kwan Hotels, level 58. This is irony,” Brandon said before they teleported to the hotel.

Stephen stood in the room alone. Micheal Owell and Stella Robbs were not there. He was waiting for them to appear when Brandon and Isaac teleported in.

“Stephen, get out of here before you get killed.” Isaac grabbed him before realising that no one else was in the suite.

“I must protect Mr Smith,” he said stoically. Stephen was afraid but he was more afraid that his master might die. Yet, he had no power to stop anyone.

Brandon noticed Stephen’s ashen face. He was hiding something dangerous. Brandon knew what he felt like. He, too, was hiding the most dangerous secret from Nick.
