we ran away from the city this time. we headed for the woods. dayrl and I took turns holding rose. we were back to square one. I seen a squeal. I had my gun pointing at it but dayrl handed me his crops bow. I aimed and whistled as the squirrel looked up at me as I shoot it.
"good."dayrl said. rose had her fingers in her mouth. I didnt fuel then same in felt anger. Stephanie unleashed the beast in me. I grabbed the squirl. "we need more." I said putting it in my bag giving rose a bottle. we stopped by the tree as dayrl changed rose and I caught 2 rabbits. "ya getting better at tracking." day said with a smile. I smiled as we made a small fire. rose was in my arms as dayrl cooked up food and feed me a can of fruit we packed. I started to sing to rose. she smiled at me a giggled. I smiled back. dayrl handed me some babe food. I fed her. I looked deep in her eyes and seen my dad smile. I felt my heart sink it looked like a TV screen playing a movies of my past. "beth?" dayrl said. I couldn't hear him. I just seen my past in roses eyes. I seen dayrl at the barn. I seen my mother and Maggie. I seen carol dead and the sisters. I seen rick and Carl I seen everything. a smile and tear escaped from me. "beth?" dayrl asked. "ya?" I looked up at him. he gave me another curious look. "nothing." he said. my scratches started to burn. I didn't tell dayrl anything. I pick up everything and walk. "let's keep moving." I said.
dayrl grabbed rose as I seen a van. I jogged up to it with dayrl. we heard moans from the woods. dayrl cleaned up the fast enough for us to lay the seat down. dayrl covers the windows with walker blood close. "walkers cant smeel us now." I laid rose down. I started to cut up the seats apart to make more room. "we can stay for awhile but not forever." I said.
