Roy's POV

It had been a few hours since I first met Monroe and Rosalee. I was still deciding how I was going to tell Trubel about everything. I decided to wait until after her mission with Andre.

I heard Andre's car pull up and park in the garage. A little after that, I heard shouting.
"You should have killed her!" I heard Orion shout. "She almost got us arrested!"

"The cops hadn't even showed up when we left," Trubel disagreed. Andre opened the door that connected the garage to the rest of the house.

"That doesn't change the fact that you got in my way. I kept you around to help me! You're useless!" Andre yelled.

That could be bad. He might get rid of her if he decided she was useless, and it didn't involve letting her go.

"Let me do something by myself and stop telling me to kill innocent people, and you can get whatever you want," Trubel told him.

"You want me to let you lead a mission?" Andre asked.

"I'm good at it," Trubel said pleadingly.

Andre, surprisingly, looked at me. "What do you think?"

"She did great when we convinced Burkhardt that she was dead," I said.

"I know another place," Andre said. "I want you to go right now while to cops are busy with the recent murder," he said grinning.

Trubel held out her hand, "Gun, please."

"You screw up again, you're dead," Andre said, handing her the weapon. He decided to run through a few scenarios with Trubel. "You don't come back, and we'll find you. And if you kill me, there are others that are going to get you back for it," he said.

Trubel rolled her eyes and looked up at the group. "I want Roy and Dwaine," she said.

"That's it?" Andre asked.

"Show me some more people I can trust here, and I'll add them to my team," Trubel challenged.

"Just go," Andre said. "I'll text Roy the address."

"Fine," she said grumpily.

I looked over at Dwaine who was suddenly standing next to me. He was basically bouncing in place; he was excited.

"Let's go," Trubel said, disappearing out the door she had just come in. Dwaine and I followed her.

*************

Trubel's POV

I wasn't allowed to drive the Mustang, but I didn't want to, anyway. I liked Dodge Chargers. Hank let me drive his one time. It was awesome! At least, I thought so; Hank was hyperventilating in the passenger's seat, digging his fingernails into the cushions and staring at himself in the mirror with wide eyes like he couldn't believe he was still alive.

I smiled to myself as I drove towards the address that Andre had texted Roy. It was another convenience store.

At first, I drove past it to scope out the place. I wasn't going to drive back, either. If the cops reviewed security footage and noticed the car drive by the store twice, it would tip them off. They would run our plates and probably check gang unit files to identify some suspects.

So, I parked a few blocks away from the store in an area with no cameras.

Dwaine, Roy, and I had already figured out a plan.

"Remember, ten minutes," I reminded them before climbing out of the car. They both nodded.

I started walking down the street, stopping at a small eclectic thrift store before heading to the actual building I was going to rob.
