Hank's POV

"Should we tell everyone that she's alive?" I asked Nick, trying to figure out what our next move was. I was driving the Charger to the house of the next robbery victim, and Wu and Nick were both with me.

"I don't know," Nick said. "If something happens before we can get her back..." Nick suggested gravely.

"Then, they lose her all over again," Wu chimed in.

"I don't think any of them, especially Rosalee, need that kind of stress right now," Nick added.

"But how are we even going to have a chance of getting Trubel back without their help?" I asked him. I agreed that we shouldn't stress out Rosalee and Monroe, especially since they were going to be starting a family. Of course, we've leaned on them for help in the past, and it was sometimes hard to navigate the Wesen world without their knowledge.

Nick sighed and gave me a serious look. "That's something we'll have to figure out, but until then, we have to learn more about what's going on."

"Well, now might be our chance to do that," I said. "This is the house."

I parked along the curb in front of a small, typical Portland house; it was a light green color with three brown steps that led up to a miniature porch and a wooden front door with large glass window filling the top half of it. I climbed out of the car and Nick and Wu did the same. Nick led the charge to the house and knocked on the front door while Wu and I waited behind him.

After a few seconds, the door opened, revealing the man from the second convenience store robbery. Nick immediately began his speech. "Mr. Johnston, I'm Detective Burkhardt with the Portland PD. This is Detective Griffin and Sergeant Wu. We have a few questions for you regarding the convenience store robbery," Nick said.

"Sure, sure," the man said, opening the door of his house wider so we could enter. "Come on in."

We filed inside and wandered into the living room on our left while Mr. Johnston asked us if we wanted anything to eat or drink.

"We're fine, thank you," I told him.

"Okay," he said. "Then, I guess we'll get right down to business," he said nervously. He adjusted his glasses on his face and said, "Sit wherever you like." He sat down on a brown loveseat, Nick sat on the nearby couch on the side closest to Johnston, and I sat next to Nick. Wu decided to wander around the room, looking at different photos in an attempt to learn more about this guy.

"Walk us through what happened," Nick commanded quickly.

"Okay, I guess I'll start with the girl that came in right before everything went down. She was, uh, tall, she had short, dark hair..." Johnston said. "She was super hot!" he added.

I saw Nick clenching his jaw when Johnston said that. Nick was pretty protective of Trubel, and he really didn't like it when people talked about her like that. At least, that was the impression I was getting from him at the moment.

"Not that that's a very specific physical description, but people have types, and she was definitely mi-" Johnston stated.

"Are you single?" Wu blurted, looking at the photos, still. Most of them featured Johnston and what appeared to be his mom.

"Uh, yeah, why?" he asked.

Wu looked at Nick's protective face and grinned slightly. We were all starting to understand why Johnston had willingly played the role of hero during the robbery.

"What happened after she came in?" Nick interrupted grumpily.

"She walked around the store, and I thought she needed help finding something, so I went with her," Johnston answered.
