All through science class I thought about Molly. Why? I don't know, probably hormones or something. She was just so pretty. With her beautiful brown hair, sparkling hazel eyes, and her adorable freckled face.

She was smart too. Valedictorian every year so far. She was kind, she loved to play D&D with us, and AV Club wouldn't be the same without her. She and I also had similar interests.

Chocolate being our favorite flavor of anything. She loved chocolate ice cream, chocolate pudding, chocolate bars, or just chocolate syrup by itself. We could eat that stuff forever, and never get tired of it. I loved how we could talk about absolutely anything, and how she would laugh at my jokes even if they aren't funny. We tell each other everything because we're best friends, but I wish we could be something more than that.

As I walked to my locker to get my lunch, I saw Molly walking with her head down.

"Molly!" I called out to her. She looked up to see who said her name, so I waved to let her know it was me. She smiled and started to walk over to me.

"Hey Dustin!" she said giving me a smile, which showed off her bright turquoise braces.

"You ready for the campaign tonight?" she asked excitedly.

"You bet I am," I told her. I smiled at her, and she giggled. She always did that whenever I smiled, but not because she was laughing at my lack of teeth. She told me in fourth grade that she thought it was cute that I didn't have my front teeth. I was so happy when she said that, I smiled so wide, and she giggled. Now every time I smile at her she giggles.

"Hey lovebirds. We're going to be late for lunch if you two keep staring into each other's eyes like no one else matters," Lucas told us. I blushed a little bit, and when I looked down at Molly, there was a light pink dusting her freckled face.

We walked to our usual table, and sat down. Molly pulled out her Star Wars lunchbox, and immediately started eating. I zoned out as I watched Molly talk with Will about the last English test. She smiled at him, and she looked so happy. Her hair fell perfectly on her shoulders, her lips were a beautiful shade of pink, and her eyes crinkled on the sides when she smiled. She looks perfect.

I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my leg, and saw Mike making kissy faces at me. I immediately turned bright red, and looked down, hiding the blush on my face. I opened my lunch, and tried to think about something else besides the beautiful girl sitting across from me.
