I Love You (Yandere! Tadashi x Reader AU)

"Oh my gosh you can't do it like that," you laugh.

"Says who?!" Nate asks in astonishment.

"Uh, literally every physics person ever."

"Well they can just suck it," He spouts.

You laugh again, holding your sides. He was really cute, and you were starting to like him. You rested your cheek on your hand, watching him write. The way his hair hung off of his forehead, how concentrated his gaze was; it was all too cute.

"Hey, (y/n)?"

You snap out of your admiration.

"Huh, yeah?"

"Well, I was wondering," he taps his pencil on the desk, "would you wanna grab a drink later?"

"Yeah," you smile.

"Great. There's this café I heard about, Lucky something. We could go there?"

You remember hearing something about it when you moved here. It wasn't far from your place, maybe over a street or two.

"That sounds great!" You exclaim, realizing you sound a little too excited. You blush, shrinking back with a smile.

"You are too cute," he says with a soft gaze.

"Pfft, no."

"Pfft, yes. I'll see you tonight, is 7 okay?"

"Yeah, that's fine."

You gather up your stuff as the bell rings and wave bye to Nate.

Are things moving too fast? You think.

Your thoughts are interrupted by Tadashi. He's leaning against the wall, arms crossed. He sees you and smiles a warm smile.

"Hey (y/n), how've you been?"

"Good good," you say, walking over to him.

He's wearing a baseball hat that hardly covers the black hair hanging just above his eyes. Something gleams behind his chocolate eyes again.

"Have you been to the café my aunt owns yet? Hiro and I work there part-time."

"Oh, yeah I think I'm going there tonight." You say, hoping Nate had been talking about the same place.

"Really? I'll be expecting you then." He tips his hat, and walks away with a smile.

You open the door to see Nate, and he bows.

"M'lady," he flashes a smile, looking up at you slightly.

You laugh and blush.

"Why are there voices out here?" A voice asks.

Vince peers around the corner, eyeing you and Nate.

"Hey I'm Nate," Nate sticks his hand out.

Vince just stares.

"Anyway, what's going on? Are you having a party, because you know the ru-"

"Actually," you cut him off, "we're going out. So you won't be bothered."

"Oh," he seems relieved.

You roll your eyes and take Nate's arm, closing the door.

"Bye Vince," you wave.

He salutes you and leans against the wall, fishing around in his pocket.

You and Nate leave the building and head to the café.

You walk in, seeing it's mostly empty. It's 7:30 at night, so that was expected.

"This okay?" Nate calls from a small table by the window. A table for two.

You nod and stride over.

Not long after you two take your seats, a girl storms in. You recognize her as Hiro's girlfriend.

"Hey Dev!" A short haired woman calls from the counter.

"Hi Cass, don't mind me, I just need Hiro."

She storms upstairs, seemingly mad.

"He's in trouble," Nate whispers to you.

"Oh yeah," you agree.

"Hi, are you two ready to order?" The lady - whose name was Cass apparently - comes over.

"Um," Nate starts, "I'll just have a regular green tea."

They turn to you.

"Oh I'll have a (favorite drink)," you smile.

She finishes writing and takes the menus.

"So," Nate leans forward.

"So," you do the same, smiling.

"You're so cute."

You blush and look down. Your fingers bunch up the end of your skirt.

"I saw you at that party, and I could tell I'd really like you," he continues.

"I like you too," you say, "you're a cool dude."

You playfully tap his hands and he laughs.

"Here you go," a voice says.

You look up to see Tadashi setting down your and Nate's drinks.

He sounds monotone, and his expression is blank.

"Thank you," you say, gingerly taking the cup of (favorite drink).

"You're welcome."

He keeps his gaze on you for a few seconds, before turning to Nate.

"Need anything else?" He asks.

"Um, no I think this is good," Nate smiles, "but thanks man."

Tadashi tips his hat and turns away.

You smile at Nate, but you look towards the counter again.

Tadashi's staring at you, and something different flashes behind his eyes.
