The Intriguing Illogical Ideas of I

So I'm teaching myself digital art in the hopes that I'll become good at it. Here's my first few attempts so when it's this time next year, I can go back and look at how much I've improved. 

So the first piece that wasn't a quick sketch or a bunch of scribbles was this one, and I did it for the last chapter of Love At First Sight that went up Christmas day.

Then I did this one of Brendon here.

Then I tried to draw Brendon again in a similar way, but this one just kinda looks creepy and I'm not too proud of it, but I suppose it's a starting point.

And then I just finished this one. It's a Troubled Soul piece, and it's kinda like one of those sibling school photos. My Mum used to make my brother and I get one every year, and we never really liked them, but I thought it was a cool juxtaposition to draw the characters in this way considering that they're not exactly siblings, but close enough. Patrick is dressed all in matching clothes because I'm imagining that Pete's Mom would've picked all his clothes out to look super cute, but Pete isn't wearing something like that because he has a rebellious streak and just kind of ignored her and wore what he want. But I think the piece looks pretty cool. :)
