Locked In
I keep everything locked inside me
Nothing comes out
I have made my own cage
And no one is allowed to invade
Can't let my feelings show
Too afraid to let anybody know
What will they think?
What will they say?
What will they do?
When they find out the truth?
That behind my tough exterior
Is just a cocktail of emotions
I don't know how you did it
But you found the key
I threw away and hid safely
You opened the cage
And now you can see the real me
I don't have to hide anymore
I've taken away my tough exterior
And now this is the real me
