Societal Standards

I'm tired of the societal standards that have been set up

Telling me what to do and what not to do

I want to do what I feel like doing

And not go according to the set up rules by society

Eat like this, walk like that, talk like this

Why can't I be free?

Eat how I want to, walk how I want to and talk how I want to

These societal standards make me feel like a prisoner

I just want to break free

To fit in perfectly, I just have to do

What society tells me to do

Have proper manners and smile to everyone

Maybe I can even set my own standards

And I wouldn't have to be controlled by society anymore
