WWG: What happened after 1 year?

Ano ang nagawa/naitulong ng WWG sa'yo?  WWG is not just a mere GC/Wattpad Group to me, it has been my third family where I was accepted and treated not only as an aspiring writer but also as a "kapamilya." Even though I spent only few months there, I've learned a lot of things with regards to my writing skills and as a human being. First, I learned how to make my write-up formal and well-structured. Natutunan ko kung paano magsulat nang maayos at hindi mukhang jeje writer. Second, I was able to try other genre which is historical wherein I collaborated with EJ. Third, I learned how to dig out more and more creative ideas from my imagination then combine all these things to form a coherent and unique write-up. Mahirap but it's such a fulfillment once na nagawa mo ang isang katha na hindi mo akalaing magagawa mo pala. Dito ko natutunang mag-seryoso at mag-enjoy sa pagsusulat at the same time lalo na 'nong ginagawa namin 'yong Serves From the Past. Lastly, I learned how to point out errors and weak points through critique session. Dito talaga ako maraming natutunan kaya masasabi ko na kung weak writer talaga ako noon, after my experiences here in WWG, even a little, I think I improved. I've seen it in my works in the Guild compared to my previous ones. WWG helped me grow as a writer and as an individual. I've learned a lot of life's lessons through the shared experiences of its members and the encouragements I have received. WWG is one of a kind and this is the only Guild I can recommend to writers out there. WWG will be forever in my heart. I miss y'all so much!2. Ano ang aral na dala dala mo hanggang ngayon kahit na hindi ka na bahagi ng WWG?  Well, even though I'm not a member of WWG anymore, the lessons I've got there are always with me. The lesson that is still in me and will be forever in my heart is that "Writing is not just a simple task. In writing, you need to use all your senses, widen your imagination, think critically, empathize with every character you create, be creative and artistic, connect every detail you put, and most importantly, put your heart into it and enjoy." Mahirap 'diba? But of course there's no such word as "mahirap" as long as you are enjoying what you are doing. Kaya ngayon, lahat ng ginagawa ko, sinisiguro kong ine-enjoy at sineseryoso ko ito at the same time. 3. Message for yourself, for members, for Admins and for aspiring writers. A message for myself? Hmmm..bumalik ka na Jollyanna! hahaha! Honestly, there are times that I miss writing but I said to myself that time will come na makakapagsulat na ulit ako. If there's a will, there's a way so don't worry Yanna Pizza/Yannababes, PaperoniPencilvania might have died now but another persona will be born again.  Message for members: Hello dear writers! I am just so proud of you especially to those members I know who are still part of the Guild up to this moment. There's only one thing that I want to say to all of you. WWG is not an ordinary Guild. You are in the right place. You might sometimes feel that the activities are truly hard but you know what? That's actually what you should feel. Walang ka-challenge-challenge kapag madali 'diba? Hindi kayo mag-e-exert ng effort kapag sobrang madali lang ang gawain 'diba? The worst part is tatamarin pa kayo. Am I right? Basta sali lang nang sali sa mga activites dahil iyan ang magdadala sa inyo tungo sa pagiging isang ganap na writer—writer na hahangaan ng readers at kapwa writers dahil sa mga unique at incomparable na mga write-ups. Sa mga nakakakilala sa akin, miss ko na kayo! Sa mga hindi nakakakilala sa akin, makilala ko sana kayo soon. HeheGoodluck to all of you and keep on writing! Take constructive criticisms positively and never repeat your mistakes. Message for admins: Hello my dear Admins! I missed you all, really. I want to say that I am so thankful to each of you. Kayo na mga nag-iisip ng challenging activities, dumidisiplina at nag-aalaga sa lahat ng members, nagtuturo at nagpapaalala sa lahat, sobrang thank you and proud na proud ako sa inyo. I know your tasks aren't easy considering that most of you are indeed busy in life. Kay Kuya Aki na founder at una kong nakilala, maraming-maraming salamat. Kay Apol/Dyosa(achuchu) na talaga namang nagtampo pa sa pag-alis ko, miss na miss na kita at mahal na mahal kita. I am so proud of you kasi hindi ka lang mahusay na manunulat kundi facilitator at master din. See you soon! Kay Kuya Glen at ate Shane, thank you so much sa lahat-lahat dahil ang dami kong natutunan sa inyo. Na-missed ko 'yong story na Megalomania kasi promise nakakawala ng stress ang sense of humor ng writer niyon hahaha! Ate Shane, goodluck to your work and invite me to your wedding ha. Kay Reng, I miss you so much bunso. You are not just a very good writer but a cover maker/graphic artist as well. Keep up the good work bunso. I love you all dear admins.  To all aspiring writers out there, huwag kayong mainggit at ma-threaten sa mga stories na mararaming reads at sa writers na mararaming followers dahil kaya ninyong higitan pa ang mga iyan. Just join and stay in this Wattpad Writers' Guild, take note all the things you have learned and apply it to your works. Practice! Practice! Practice! Write! Write! Write! Remember, practice makes you better. Keep on writing. Huwag kayong mag-aim na sumikat agad, aim for your work's betterment. #KeepGoingTayoMgaWriters
