Chained

Chapter 3: Scent

Taehyung stiffened at the other's words. He blinked as his eyes were still full of shock. Taehyung then realized their position. He then pushed the other male glaring at him.

"Get off me you fucker!"

"Baby, the name is Jeon Jungkook. But you can call me daddy..." Taehyung looked at him with wide eyes. But a blush will be seen from his cheeks, neck and ears because of the other's remarks.

Jungkook, satisfied at his mate's reaction, giggled. He is so satisfied that he can give that reaction to his mate. That's right, only him. Now, Taehyung doesn't know why but somehow it made his heart to leap. Like what the heck? The man just did a giggle! So why beat that fast heart?! He is so confused on why is his body acting this way.

Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's wrist leading him to the cell's door. Taehyung  just pulled his wrist back but the latter has an iron grip. He keeps on wriggling his hand out of that grip. He kept on tugging but the man just looked at him with no hassle on his face. Why is he so strong?! Taehyung thought.

"Let.go." Taehyung said with no emotions. Trying to overpower the alpha in front. Jungkook was saddened at the way his mate said it to him. But he quickly covered it with his cocky and cold self.

"No." Jungkook said with finality. Looking straight at his mate's eyes. Taehyung's eyebrows furrowed. His face showing a scowl. He pulled his wrist with a great force but Jungkook is having none of that.

"I would carry you like a sack or you would come with me like a normal person?" Taehyung blushed imagining Jungkook carrying him on his back. He doesn't want to be paraded like a sack. He stopped making a fit afraid of what Jungkook can do. Besides, he is still an omega and Jungkook is still an alpha.

"Good boy" Jungkook smirked as the omega listened to his demands.

"I'm not coming with you without Chimchim." He said while looking like a child throwing a tantrum. He might be unreasonable by now because why would you find someone when you just met your mate?

"Hate to break it to you mate, but he left you already." Jungkook replied a bit harshly. Why does he wants to see that tiny man?! Isn't he enough? Jungkook thought to himself. He doesn't care if he is someone dear to Taehyung . If that midget make a move to his mate, he would not hesitate to rip him into pieces. Well.... he would probably do that to every person that would dare to get near Tae. He can't help it because sharing is a big no to the infamous JEON JUNGKOOK.

"Wha-?! Where is he?!" Taehyung said a bit shocked. He looked side by side to make sure that Jimin is really not there. He's panicking a bit because he never and when I say never, I mean they were never separated or apart to each other since their pack was attacked.

"In Yoongi's room, probably being banged... I think." Jungkook said. Not a bit interested on where the midget is. He still can't get the fact that Taehyung really cares for that tiny man.

Taehyung was speechless at the time being. He is happy, scared, panicking and giddy. What is this man doing to him?! Taehyung felt anger. He is not angry though. So why is he feeling this emotion?? He can sense the frustration in the air. He looked at Jungkook. The boy's eyebrow is furrowed. A scowl is evident on his face.

He can hear a low growl on Jungkook's throat. So Jungkook is angry? Why is he feeling his emotions? He suddenly felt sad. His mate is angry. The wolf in him whimpers at the emitting growl.

"Please don't be mad..." Taehyung said while bitting his lips. He reached out his hand to hold Jungkook's hand. He doesn't know why he is doing this but he did anyways. Maybe it's the mate bond.

Jungkook's tensed shoulder relaxed. He feels so calm just by the touch of his mate. He smiled at Taehyung. Jungkook stepped forward then hold the latter's cheeks. He kissed his forehead then hugged Taehyung.

"Okay... I won't be mad." Taehyung stiffened at all his gestures. Only Jimin do this kind of things to him but more of a brotherly way.

"Why are you making me feel like this??" Taehyung said as he returned the hug. He wrapped his arm on Jungkook's waist. Jungkook on the other hand, hold Taehyung's head and guided it to his neck.

He let go of Taehyung. But the boy felt sad when Jungkook released him. Maybe it's because he can't feel the warmth anymore.

"Baby, don't feel that way" Jungkook said while smirking. His mate just felt sad because he let him go. The situation is feeding his pride.

"Don't call me that!" Taehyung said while blushing.

Jungkook holds his hand then walk. Taehyung followed but hanged his head low. He doesn't want people to see his red face. From his neck to his ears, the skin was pinkish. Jungkook just smirk at the effect he is giving to the omega.

Taehyung can't understand himself. Why is he being submissive? Yes he is an omega but he can disobey an order. That is what makes him special. He can be dominant. But why is he being like this? Jungkook will just growl then he will be scared. Like what the fuck?! He survived every attack and every horny werewolf chase. And never in those attacks, he felt the emotion of being scared.

Is it because that Jungkook is his mate? He can't understand a thing today.

As Jungkook ang Taehyung were walking through the hall, Taehyung's tummy grumbled. He remembered that he haven't ate for 3 days. He was chased so there's no time for food. Taehyung blushed as he was embarrassed. Jungkook stopped and took a glance at his mate.

"Hungry?"

"N-no" Jungkook chuckled at Taehyung's attempt to lie.

"Come on, let's eat. I'll feed you"

Taehyung kept his mouth shut. It's free food. So what other options can you get? Besides, he is so hungry. Jungkook led him to a hallway filled with jail-like rooms. There are wolves in it too and every one of those wolves were trying to reach them. He scrambled towards to Jungkook. He felt safe with him for some reason. Even though they just met. The wails and pleas of the chained wolves were heard. They are probably restrained with silver chains. For wolves, it is a torture to have those chains for a long time. It might even take your sanity away.

The stench is making Taehyung throw up. It smells so bad. He can smell a faint scent of blood. That gives Taehyung some goosebumps. As he was passing, a wolf grabbed his shirt tugging at it. He was so shocked and he quickly scurried to his mate. Jungkook pulled him closer. His hand is tightly wrapped at Taehyung's slim waist. His other hand is holding his mate's hand. Jungkook then growled loudly making all the wolves whimper and cower back. Taehyung's face is as red as a tomato right now. He feels so giddy at his mate's possesiveness. He can't help but to feel it though.

They passed through that hallway without any hassle. Right after they pass the hallway, Taehyung quickly gets out of Jungkook's grip. But unfortunately, his hand is still being held by Jungkook. The alpha led the way. They walked in silence. But not an awkward silence. It's a comfortable type of silence.

Taehyung can see the end of this foul place. From afar he can see a big gate. It's a bit rusty but it sure does show strength in it. Jungkook let Taehyung's hand go.

"Wait for me after you go out of that gate. I just need to do something. Someone will escort you. Am I clear?" Jungkook said with his alpha voice.

Yes, that made Taehyung's body to shiver at all the authority. But Taehyung being Taehyung, he won't listen. Taehyung went to the gate without looking back at Jungkook. He just made a few steps out but something made him to stop.

The scent.....

He knows that scent.....

It's familiar........

It's been a long time since he smelled that.....

His eyes started to water......

"Taehyung?" Said the man who is now looking at Taehyung with wide eyes.
