Lucy's POV:

I was listening to the people outside who were adopting it sounded more then one or two people.

I felt really nervous listening to them. The first girl went out, they wanted a girl around seven or eight I had a chance.

Calum's POV:

The first girl came out but she was too old.

"I'm sorry but she's to old we wanted a girl around seven or eight years young."

Then another girl came out but she was still too old then the age we wanted.

After an hour of looking at girls that were to old then we wanted.

(Authors note:Sorry that sounds really weird :) .)

Then a small girl around seven or eight years young was called out she had soft looking red hair (Not like red hair Michael would have.) But natural red hair, with blue eyes that seemed to shine whenever she looked at you. She was up to my waist with small little feet.

When she came out we were all suddenly interested in her looks and her age.

"This is Lucy she is eight years old she was left at the doorstep of the orphanage when she was four years old." The women said sounding tired after al the introductions.

"Hello Lucy." I grinned at her.

"Hi." She replied in a shy quiet voice.

"How are you today?" Michael asked in his Barney voice.

"I'm good today how about you?" She replied with a chuckle. She seemed to like the Barney voice.

By looking at the boys they seemed to like her.

"I am FABULOUS darling." Michael replied.

Lucy giggled again with her shy quiet voice.

Luke's POV:

I never wanted to adopt a child she wouldn't get enough care or love she would have wanted. I think it's crazy!
But I better go with it anyways.

When Lucy came out I knew that they all loved her the second they saw her their eyes flashed and they were interested.

She seems nice but we don't deserve her.

Lucy's POV:

I wasn't expecting to see four boys sitting in the meeting room, I was really surprised and nervous.
I wish I could be adopted by them but as the girl said I'm too ugly.

Michael's POV:

After we finished talking to Lucy the woman at the desk left us alone too chat.

"Well I think Lucy is perfect."

"Agreed." They said simultaneously.

"So will we adopt Lucy?"

"Of course! She's perfect." Calum replied.

"I will tell the women that we will adopt Lucy ok?"

"OKAY"

Lucy's POV:

After meeting with the people who came to visit I was tired and went back to my room to go to sleep. There is seven more beds in my room.
But there is nobody else in the room with me, all of them were adopted.
I picked up my doll and start singing her a song I learnt years ago. I don't remember who sang it to me.

"Hush little baby don't say a word, mommy's gonna buy you a mocking bird, if that mocking bird don't sing, mommy's  gonna buy you a diamond ring,

If that diamond ring is brass, mommy's gonna buy you a looking glass,

If that looking glass gets broke,

Mommy's gonna buy you a horse and a yolk,"

Luke's POV:

As the rest of them were signing the notes and forms and all that stuff,
I decided to look around a little bit.
As I strolled down the hallways I could hear a distinctive sound, it sounded like singing.

I followed the sound and it led me down two more hallways there was a lot of beds in each room I passed.
I came to the room where the singing was coming from.
In the room was a small figure with a doll singing

"If that horse and yolk fall over, mommy's gonna buy you a dog named Rover if that dog named rover don't bark." She sang sweet fully

I knew the song so I sang the last verse with her.

"Mommy's gonna buy you a horse and a cart."

She looked up surprised but we continued the lullaby.

"If that horse and cart fall down,

You'll still be the sweetest little baby in town."

"How do you know that song?" she asked.

"I don't know. My mom probably sang it to me when I was younger." I smiled at her.

She gave me a smile back.

I went over to her bed and sat at the side of her bed.

"Where is everybody else?" I asked not knowing why she is on her own in a room with seven other beds.

"Everyone else was adopted." She replied in a sad voice.

"They say its because I'm ugly and nobody wants me."

"No that's not true, come here."

I picked her up onto my lap, She was as light as a feather.

"You're a beautiful little girl and we are going to adopt you." I replied in a hushed tone.

"Really?" She asked excitedly.

"Yes really."

"I can't wait to leave the orphanage."

"Yep we will tell you everything about ourselves, and how we live.

"But can you promise me one thing?"

"Anything."

"Will you always be my daddy?"

"Of course."

I gave her a smile.

We sat there for a while and we both fell asleep. Her tiny hands are so perfect, her small figure curled up in a ball.

I would look after her forever never leaving her side.

She fell asleep in my arms. Comfortable with her new dad.

Until a voice woke us both up.
