Thomas's POV:

I hopped on my Lightcycle and started speeding down the highway. I looked back and saw Guy holding 5 baguettes and a backpack. I turned around and stopped beside him.

"Why do you have all of that stuff?" I asked.

"You never know what could happen." Guy responded.

"Wait... We shouldn't have taken our Lightcycles. The Hoodies could see the LED lights from a mile away."

"Turn them off then."

I turned my LEDs off, and Guy did the same.

"So where are the Hoodies?" Guy asked.

"I don't know, but I know the is a possible place in town." I replied and started my Lightcycle up.

"Where?!" Guy called.

"Broken down supermarket." I yelled back.

I zipped down the highway on my Lightcycle until we were at the bridge that overlooked our destination.

"How will we get down there?" I asked Guy.

"Let's see what's in the survival bag." He pulled out a giant tarp.

"Wait, we're parachuting?!"

"If that's what it takes, yes."

I looked down.

"Jump on three." Guy told me.

"But there's only one tarp..."

"Grab my feet. I got this."

"Um..." I grabbed onto Guy's feet.

"1..2..3.. JUMP!" He yelled.

We were soon plummeting off of a bridge, right onto the parking lot of an abandoned supermarket. We landed in a pile, the tarp on top of us.

"That was pretty f-" Guy quickly clamped his hand over my mouth slit.

"Shut up, they can hear us." He hissed.

I shot up like a rocket and shoved the tarp back into the backpack. I started sneaking into the Hoodies' base. A cage made of lasers startled me.

"I didn't know that the Hoodies had this kind of technology..." Guy whispered.

Out of nowhere, there were footsteps. I guess the Hoodies heard us with their enhanced senses.

"Get down." I dragged Guy behind the entrance to the base.

A blue Hoodie, carrying a sweatshirt catalog, looked around the entrance. He shrugged and went back inside.

"It's clear." I whispered.

I tiptoed into the base once again.

"Over here!" A panicked voice whispered.

"It's her!" Guy was already creeping over to the laser cage.

"Get over here, losers!" She hissed.

I tiptoed faster. In about 10 seconds, I was at the laser cage.

"Take this." I slid a knife from the survival kit through the bars, "Cut the bars open."

She took the knife and sawed away at the lasers. The front of the cage fell onto the ground. The girl stepped out and hugged Guy and I.

"Let's leave." Guy whispered.

"Not so fast..." A Hoodie hissed.

"Oh no..." I sighed.

"We work for the ARA." Red Jacket scowled.

"And we're here to kill you and the girl." Blue Jacket smirked.

"But you can't... Not yet." The girl twirled her wavy brown hair.

She took the knife and hurled it at the hoodies. They both vanished, leaving their jackets behind.

"What's your name?" Guy asked the girl.

"Spunky." She replied, "My name is Spunky."
