The alarm started to ring to get myself and Hal out of bed to work on the Blue and Gold.
"Good Morning sweetheart"says Hal and kisses my cheek.
"Good Morning Hal"as i return the kiss.
I go down the stairs to make breakfast for Polly,Betty and Hal
Betty comes down last for breakfast.
Polly and Hal are sitting at the table together.
Today was not an ordinary day it was mine and Hal's wedding anviserary.
I had made everyone their breakfast and Betty went off to school
Polly had to be with her babies in another area.
Hal and I were alone for the day.
Hal said"I have a surprise for you"
I smile "Where is it"??
"Upstairs"
OK then i laughed and went upstairs.
For whatever reason i had decided to go down to the basement.
The basement had been full with all sorts of things even a picture of Hal and i on our wedding day
I had then found an old box
This box had a few things inside.
The first thing i found was my serpent jacket the one i wore as a teenager and a photo of myself and FP together in the South side outside of the White Wrym.
I had only taken one look at this and began to cry.
The Serpents made me so close.
We were always together like a big family.
That was something i had secretly missed and had felt not even the slightest bit ready deep inside for change in any way.
If only I had been with FP Jones instead of Hal.
Hal never approved of him.
He and his family had hated guts from the Southside
Everytime they would meet it would nearly resort to violence.
These fights had been taken place because of me.
I only ever wanted a man who knows how to treat a woman and not be a jerk.
