After the years of meeting FP and dating him it was my eighteenth birthday and I knew I was going to have the best night of my life.
Fred,Mary,Hannah and the man himself FP.
I had also invited Hal to come along to which he had accepted my invitation.
The bigger problem was that FP and Hal don't get along with each other.
I was wondering how would I manage to keep away from each other for the whole party.
But at the end of the day they were grown men.
They need to deal with this situation in a grown up manner.
As I was getting ready for the party I received a text from Hal.
"Hey Where is the party"
"It's in the White Wrymn at 8"
A few seconds later.
"OK That's fine I won't be able to make it"
"Ok that's alright"
The main reason for Hal not coming was down to two things.
1.He would never set foot in that bar in his life.
2.FP's Mere presence was enough to make him resort to violence.
That was the suitation in a nutshell.
I had almost done applying my makeup I got another text this was from Mary.
"Are you all set"
"Yes"
"See you soon"
I had made my way downstairs to be met by my mother.
"Sweetheart take it easy tonight and keep together with your friends and not get lost"
"OK mother I will be fine"
Bye darling
Bye Mom see you later.
We arrived at the bar at 8pm the atmosphere was intense.
Hogworm took everyone's orders everything had been running smoothly.
DJ Ally in da house .... Any requests ???
FP shouted jokingly "What is Love"
The DJ laughed and smirked.
"I will play that song later"
I had thoroughly enjoyed listening to DJ Ally's beats they were addictive.
Just at random the music had slowly changed to What is Love.
I was slowly brought onto the dance floor by FP.
"What is Love well baby don't hurt me don't hurt me no more"
FP had waltzed with me whilst Mary and Fred sat together watching myself and FP dance together.
They looked so relaxed when they were together.
They were chatting,dancing and laughing the entire night away.
FP had taken my hand into his at the end of the song and brought me outside the White Wrymn.
I was still rather shocked to learn that he could dance and a part of me had already known that he was a gentleman. The summer night sky was so clear and mild.
"Why are we outside"
"I wanted to give you a present in Private."
"OK then"
He places a small box of jewellery in my hand.
I open the box to see that he had bought a heart necklace.
"Oh My its beautiful thank you so much"
"That's ok"
FP kisses me on the Cheek and we go back inside.
We go inside to see a pair of lovebirds sleeping on the dining chairs heads nuzzled against each other.
They were both sound asleep.
We had left the White Wrymn at 11:40 and had arrived back home 30 minutes later.
I just had a fantastic night with my friends and I was about to fall asleep when my mom came up to my room.
"When you were out,Hal Cooper stopped by and left you a present"
She gives me a package wrapped up with a rose on the top of the box.
"Thanks mom goodnight"
"Goodnight"
I went instantly to sleep and I had only hoped that things would get better in the meantime.
It was a shame that Hannah couldn't come maybe she will give me a present tomorrow.
The Good Times were just getting better.
