Chapter 1 <Rose's POV>

Brrrriiiing... Brrinng..Brinnggggg

"Ughhh"

Winter break is over , Oh how i wish i woke up on the sound of birds chirping, classical music playing, and the smell of food.BUT NO, The universe freakin' hate me. I just had to wake up to this annoying alarm and the unbearable school life coming for me.

Fifteen minutes later after the devious thing rang,  i jumped out of my bed and started to do my routine which consists of brushing my teeth and taking a 2 minutes shower. After i took my shower i chose a black baggy tank,completed with a black flannel hoodie, a purple beanie, and my black and white converse. (outfit above) . Never have i ever worn makeup in my life,  well except for that one time when i was 5, and it was just for my aunt's wedding.  I just felt like every girl is beautiful in their own ways..

Well that was deep, Anyways..

I checked my reflection on the mirror,combed my hair with my hand then ran down the stairs.

"MOM I need to go noww, Where are you? "

My mom and I are polar opposites, while i spent my time practicing soccer, my mom spent her time redoing her makeup. Its like she's the teen in the house, but i love her anyway. I never really knew my dad.Based on what my mom said, he's hilarious,kind-hearted and loyal,  but sadly he died when i was just 3 on a severe car accident. I would really love to meet him.

"Cominggg, just doing the final touches.......andddd..... DONE!

I rolled my eyes but chuckled quietly to myself. I dont wanna say it but i just had to

I told you so.

My mom ran downstairs and went to the front door with me following behind. We jumped in our car, a black Toyota Avanza(pic end of chapter) with my mom driving ,i slid in the passenger seat and she started driving. All we could afford right now is really this car, which isn't bad, and our humble house.  My mom owns a local coffee shop nearby,  i've asked her a couple of times if she needed my help in the shop but she kept saying that all i had to do was go to school and have fun.. So i did just that

My source of fun had always been soccer,  it's my hobby and i've always wanted to be like one of those professional players. I want it as a career and i'm trying my best to achieve a scholarship to be UCLA's college level women's team.

"We're here"
I was pulled out of my daydream and looked out the window, Well there it is Globe High where people judged you by your fashion sense, and appearance. People don't care about your personality...Pshhhh.. Whats that,  OMG it's like so not important, who needs personality when you have plump lips, manicured nails and silky hair. Said the most popular girl in Globe High, Holly Preston. She's like a she-devil and a total bit-

"Yo Roe snap out of it,  i need to go to work.GET OUT!"

"Sorry mom , i'm going byee.Love youu"

"Love you too honey,  See you tonight"

I flew out of the car and watched as my mom swerved out of the school's parking.
I turned around and face my soon-to-be torture

Goodbye dreamland, Hello real world....
