The bell rung and it signaled the start of third period. Mrs Vasquez got up and told that class that we were gonna go outside with the juniors and seniors to do some "bonding activities". The freshmen were gonna learn more about the school.

Deli- If we end up having to do some partner shit, I'm going with Kadie. No doubts.

Cy- Well no shit. That's your girlfriend.

Kailela- Do you think we'll have to be partners with only our grade?

Jason- Wow Lela. You'd ditch me for Metri that quick? I'm hurt.

Kailela- Uhhh Duhh. I don't even like you. You're a bully.

I looked him like he was stupid and he just started laughing like the weirdo he is. Right now we were walking from our class to the quad. Kadie and Nique were already there with Metri.

Gelo, Izzy, Don, Eli, Chris, Will, Lorenzo, Iris, and three other girls were across from us diagonally. Melo, Quan, O, and Melo's new girlfriend went over to them.

Me, Deli, Cy, Jason, Nique, Kadie, And Metri were standing together.

Kadence- Theres a lot of new people this year.

Nique- Well no shit. It's a new year. Of course there's gonna be new people.

Kadence- Leave me alone. You know I'm slow.

We high fived and I smiled. Kadie looked at me like I slow too.

Kailela- That's not fair then. Deli and Cy are like giants.

Lunch had come quicker than I expected it too and Metri was in my fourth period Drama class.

Metri- You gone be the girl in all the plays we have to partner in. I refuse too.

Kailela- Uhm. No. I'm tired of always being the girl lead.

Metri- Well Its not gonna be me.

Kailela- Yes it is. At least once.

Metri- I'm not having this conversation with you anymore Lela. Niggas is hungry.

His arm was around my shoulder and we were walking to the cafeteria.

Metri- You mad at me?

I said in my best mom sarcastic voice. But I gues she noticed that I was mad.

This dude was hella hard to pull away from, especially because he's strong and really cute.

It's the first day of school, and honestly I can tell this is gonna be a good year. Quan and O finally got girlfriends after complaining all last year. O's girlfriend's name is Neveah, and Quan's is Armani. They're both really pretty. But then again I got mineeee.

Hayley is bad as fuuck. She makes me happy as hell. Iris doesn't like her and neither does Gelo or my their family, but I don't care. We were all at lunch right now.

Gelo- I met this kid today named Kory.

O- What grade is he in?

Gelo- Freshman. He's hella good at basketball though.

Melo- Think Dad'll let him on our team?

Gelo- Most likely. He's got talent.

Don- Where's he at?

He looked around the cafeteria and saw a light skinned boy with curly hair surrounded by a bunch of girls.

Gelo- Right there.

Gelo call his name and he looked up and started walking towards us.

Will- Wassup Fucker.

Quan- You know him too?? What the hell is wrong with you?

Lorenzo- That's also our cousin.

Don- Is the whole damn school related to y'all now?!

Will- No. Just five of them are related to us...

Gelo- Your family confuses me.

Lorenzo- How's your sister?

Will- Is Kadence still with Deli?
