Dorothy Rebecca Barnes was born March 10th 1917 at 7.00 in the morning, 12 minutes after her older twin brother James Buchanan Barnes. The girl born in war. Her best friend Steve Grant Rogers who later became Captain America was the love of her long and complicated life, she loved him long before he became the American hero when he thought he was a nobody to her he was everything.
This tale is about the girl who survived the war that tore everything away from her, how she built herself back up in a strange land and how she became one of the earth's mightiest heroes.
This girl since the day she was born has always been an exception to the rules.
