"Is it utterly pathetic that I've been in love with the same person for oh I don't know the last seventy years."
"Nah It's poetic."

Thank the heavens for Howard Stark.
Peggy and I had convinced Howard to help us, so that's how the three of us plus Steve ended up on a lance piloted but Howard "The HYDRA camp is in Krausberg, tucked between these two mountain ranges" Peggy said, "It's a factory of some kind."
"We should be able to drop you right on the doorstep" Howard called from the pilot seat.
"Just get us as close as you can" Steve replied, "you know, you three are gonna be in a lot of trouble at the lab."
"And yo won't?" I asked nursing his side slightly.
"Where were goin', if anybody yells at me I can just shoot 'em."
"They will undoubtedly shoot back."
"Well, let's hope it's good for somethin'" Steve knocked in his shield.
"Agent Carter, if we're not in too much of a hurry I thought we could stop off in Lucerne for a late night fondue. Or maybe you and me Dorothy when you get back."
I looked at Steve briefly before getting my parachute ready "Howard is the best civilian I've ever seen."
"He's mad enough to brave this airspace, we're lucky to have him" Peggy added.
Steve looked at me "So are you two, do you, fondue?"
I and Peggy looked at each other confused and both ignored him "this is your transponder. Activate it when you're ready and the signal will lead us straight to you both."
"Are you sure this thing works?"
"It's been tested more than you, pal," Howard said, the plane started rocking, we had been seen and Nazi fighter pilots were attacking.
"You ready?" Steve asked me, I nodded in response so grabbing his shield he opened the plane door.
"Get back here" Peggy yelled, "we're taking you all the way in."
"As soon as I'm free, you turn this thing around and get the hell outta here" Steve yelled back over the outside noise.
"You can't give me orders."
"The hell I can't! I'm a Captain" Steve looked back at me and jumped out the plane.
I moved forward to follow but Peggy grabbed my arm "be careful."
"Always am" I nodded at her and followed Steve out the plane.

I had done a lot of adventurous, stupid things in my life but parachuting down into enemy lines to rescue my brother from factory housing good knows what was probably the worst but it was liberating, so freeing and I loved it. We both landed practically next to each other seconds apart both final we quickly discarded the parachutes and ran through the woods until we saw the hydra factory, thankfully two trucks were just approaching, we ducked down as the headlights swept passed us, when it did we ran and jumped into the back of the last one, I painted slightly and laid back but unfortunately we weren't alone, two hydra men were looking at us.
