Chapter Seven

TYSM for the previous chapter target completion..........I'm really happy that people are liking my story and are also letting me know through their comments what all they like about my work...........also this time I have tried translating a few hindi dialogues in this chapter.........they are not exactly translated word to word, but will give the non-hindi readers a rough idea about what all is being said.........I guess that should be helpful!!!!.........so here's the next one........

Chapter Seven

I was struggling to catch sleep..........my head was heavy and mind tired........back to back meetings and a very annoying ex.........what all could be my plight.........I stuffed my head into the pillow as Ele kept screeching in the adjacent room........

"I had asked you to fire him..........who had told you to get him a job at Sona's firm..........are you out of your mind Ved?..............I'm so fed up with you ............how could you?.........you fooled me too............you never told me you were getting Dev hired in Sona's firm, you just said there's someone good to assist her........God!!!why did I even convince Sona about this?"

Me and my Ele...........when it came to telling off our men, we were nothing but similar...........I still remember how I used to scold Dev when he would go against my wishes...........now don't start imagining impossible scenarios..........I know we just stayed together for a week after our marriage...........but we did date for quite some time and were best of bicker-loving friends before that too..........

"Aaru listen...........I was just trying to get him a job, he needs to earn Aaru, we just can't get him on streets for no reason at all.......plus you just asked me to fire him from our firm............you never said I'm not supposed to fetch a job for him elsewhere...........if you would have told me Jaan, I would never have offended you..........you know that naa"

Typical love-sick puppy.............Ved is just his wife's follower...........he dreads her the most and would never dare to go against her wishes to be on the safer side..........well well, now since he has already pissed her off, seems the gravest part is yet to come up...........

"don't talk to me...........pick your pillow and get out of my room...........and don't enter till the next weekend...........out!!!!!!!"

There you go.............my wicked girl............I will also fire Dev from my office for a week..............then I won't have to see his handsome, I mean err.......his stupid face for a week............great idea, will implement it tomorrow itself............but right now, I have to deal with this couple who seems to be all set to tear each other apart...........

I walked out my room and marched towards theirs............my neighbors right now must be cursing me like hell............knocking on their door repeatedly, I forced them to open it........God, let me tell you, Ved looks like a runaway criminal now.......his hair is all dishelmed and his face, oh God, its hilarious.........it looks as if he will be sentenced to death in a few minutes..........

"guys, guys............relax...........he's my problem now and I will deal with it..........why do you have to fight like kids over an idiot..........I advise you, go to sleep..........I'll take Avni along, now common, kiss and make up"

I pulled Avni out while pushing Ved in, locking the door behind me and Avni giggled as we made our way to my room..........she's my cutie pie.........we get along like a house on fire..........both of us made way to my room as we could still hear Ved coaxing Ele to forgive him.........
