(Ashley Pov) I woke up smelling the pies Kevin made yesterday and hearing Let it Snow by Boyz ll Men on the radio. Sky was gone so I assumed she was already downstairs. I got up and washed my face before brushing my teeth. I walked downstairs and saw big Keith two stepping his way to the kitchen.
"Man gone on in there looking like somebody uncle." I said laughing. He turned around and smiled at me. "Babydoll come here." I jogged over and hugged him. "Hey pops. I missed you." I said trying to breath as he squeezed me. "I missed you more. How was Italy?" He asked leading me into the kitchen. "Great, I met this man named John. He reminded me so much of you. I'll have to take you next time so you two can meet."
"The food will be ready about 5. Good morning baby." Mama Jen said as she added a bit more salt to the greens. "Do you want me to make the kool-aid and tea, mama?" I said looking through the drawer they kept the packets in. "Yes but do you mind getting some sodas too?" I shook my head, "Any specifics?" She shook her head. "Maybe Dr. Pepper, sprite and Pepsi." I nodded.
"I'll get some more sugar while I'm gone." I walked back out of the kitchen and jogged upstairs. Today a bunch of family members are coming over so we have tons of preparations to do. I slipped on some jogging pants and my vans before walking back downstairs.

I placed the cleaning rag in the washer and put the pinesol up. "Go ahead and wash up. They already pulling up." Mama Jen said walking towards the front door. I nodded and went to my room. I took a shower then blow dryed my hair. I grabbed my flat iron and started doing my hair.
I put on a fitted burnt orange dress and black flats. I wasn't going anywhere so why dress up. I took my phone off the charger and took a couple pictures before I went downstairs and asked Kevin to come take some pictures of me.
Kevin always come in clutch with my pictures. Can't say I expected less he always took pictures for Kaylan and I.

"These look great. Thank you Kevin." I said looking at the pictures. We walked back in and greeted some family members before setting the table. "Just waiting on a few more people then we'll eat ok?" Big Keith said to everyone.
With that being said everyone went ahead and sat at the table. I sat in between Kaylan and Kevin. "He's here!" Mama Jen ran past the table. Kaylan and Skylar followed behind her.
"Oh my baby!" I heard mama Jen exclaim from outside. I chuckled and took a sip of my drink. Kevin placed his hand on my thigh. "If he say something outta line don't worry. Ok? I got you." I smiled and kissed his cheek. Kevin is definitely my second favorite out of the family Skylar is number one.
"Come on in everyone is waiting." Mama Jen came and sat down. "Look who's here!" She said cheesing. I looked up seeing Keith and I'm assuming his girlfriend. "Hey everyone." He said looking around smiling. My phone ended began ringing making his attention advert to me. His smile immediately dropped. "Excuse me, I have to take this." I said walking to the kitchen.
I smiled once I got off the phone with my boyfriend. I ran outside to see his rolls royce pulling in. I squealed and ran too him the second his blonde curls came into view. "Man this car is nice!" Kaycee said. "Thanks man." Odell said rubbing my lower back. "Odell this is Kaycee Jennifer's nephew. Kaycee this is Odell-" I said getting cut off. "Beckham Jr, wide receiver for the giants, nice to meet you." Kaycee said shaking his hand.
Kevin sat further down so Odell could sit next to me."Hey brother." Odell said sitting beside me and doing a handshake with Kevin. "Mama this is Odell." I said looking at her. "So this is the man thats always keeping my daughter away from me." She said referring to him taking me to Tokyo and Rome. "Yes ma'am, sorry about that." He said rubbing his neck.
"It's ok. Come here you're family now as long as I've been talking to you." I laughed as she pulled him into a hug. Odell and I have been dating for almost two years now. I just never had them meet face to face. Kevin met him on accident. "Go ahead and enjoy." Mama said before going back to her seat.
I randomly started feeling uncomfortable. I looked across from me seeing Keith's eyes moving between Odell and I. We all held hands as big Keith began praying.

I screamed as Kaylan finally guessed her clue right. We were playing Heads up. And currently us girls were so close to beating the guys who were three points ahead. I took the phone and looked at Mina, Kevin's girlfriend. "Oh ok so think of the person you're always listening to when you sapping. Ok? Now think of where he's from." I stood there thinking hard. "Come on Ashley!" She said before doing a dance from Hotline Bling.
"Oh Oh, uh.. Damn the city or the country?" I asked "Country!" The girls yelled. "Canada!" I yelled last minute. I laughed as the guys tried saying we cheated. "Nah she did a dance everyone knew." Keith yelled pointing. I shrugged and laughed, "They never said in the rules we couldn't dance." I reached a different got my bottle of water. "No that's like the answer being Houston and I start doing the dance from single ladies." Odell stated. "No shut up." I said pushing him onto the couch. "But I'd love to see you do that dance." He pulled me down on his lap and began tickling my sides.
"Ok stop please!" I said trying to gasp for breath. "Baby where's the bathroom?" I pointed down the hall. "Last door on the left." He nodded and followed my directions. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed another water bottle from the fridge. I shut the door to see Keith standing there.
"What the fuck?! You almost got punched boy, damn." I said clutching my chest. He simply chuckled, "Why are you here?" I was confused "Here as in?" I asked. "With my family?" I rolled my eyes. "why wouldn't I spend the holidays with our family?" I questioned looking at him. "They stopped being family when we divorced." I shook my head. "We stopped being family once we divorced. You fell out with them, I didn't. This is your blood family and you haven't seen them in how long?"
He didn't respond. I nodded, "Exactly don't come in here fucking up a good time with your salty ass." I said before walking out purposely bumping shoulders with him. "I rather be fucking something else up honestly." He mumbled under his breath. As shook as I was I just kept walking and pretended I didn't hear it.
