"Yo yo yo," I heard. I turned around and saw the funniest looking guys ever. They were hopping and maybe trying to intimidate me. "Look what we have here." The thinner blue haired guy stepped up. He was dressed in black clothing with a skull like bandana.
"What I see bro is a little girl with some Pokémon we can steal." My first solo encounter with grunts. I saw them grab one pokeball each from their pockets. This could be fun.
I know Pikachu and Dedenne's moves pretty well but I could use a challenge. "Pikachu," I whispered, "pick two Pokeballs for me to use." He looked at me like I was crazy and Dedenne looked at me too in a similar way.
But Pikachu followed and handed me 2 Pokeballs from my bag. "Time to have some fun," I cheered. I let out the two mystery Pokémon.
"Are you even taking this seriously? We're criminals." The other bigger grunt yelled.
"No, not really," I responded and looked at the two Pokémon on my side. One was a small blue dinosaur with red spikes and a huge mouth.
"Totodile," It said while looking around presumably for Ash. Pikachu started talking to it and Totodile nodded at me and Pikachu.

The other one was smaller like Totodile but a little bit longer. It was blue and cream coloured. "Quilava," it growled as flames shot up from his back and head. Once again Pikachu calmed him down and explained the situation.

"Are you ready guys?" I asked. Quilava got into a battle stance and stared at the two unknown Pokémon. Totodile was jumping around dancing and I couldn't stop myself from laughing.
"Salandit use Ember on the blue thing," I heard the smaller grunt yell out. I watched the small black and red lizard fire out the small flames at Totodile.
