cliches are overrated
as far as i know the bad boys can do nothing but bruise
and the "good girls" only lose.
cliches are overrated
i know i've said this a million times before
but i'll say it again and again till the blue turns purple and our hearts take a chance and will chose
for the right days and the bright smiles
with warm hearts everlasting skies
that will be filled with giggles and snorts
for the good boys the fun girls who hold on to life and slow nights
for the chicks and brats that'll stay till dawn drawn close to your chest
hearing your heart beat beneath their breath
something that will last until the stars will explode
with the stardust in our minds
something that won't keep frozen lips apart and warm hands clinging onto the dark
for those that will need you and won't just turn your skies into mushed shades of blue
cliches are overrated
as far as i know bad girls only make you cry and good boys will only try and try and try
until their hearts are weak and minds broke
until nightmares roam
take their souls and break their hearts
"for there's nothing more beautiful then a broken dream shattered across a girls bed sheets"
cliches are overrated
as far as i know jocks can be nerds whilst nerds can be mean
and cheerleaders can hurt and bookworms kick your ass and make you scream
cliches are overrated
because as far as i know
there's nothing beautiful about judging people
especially on whatever only your eyes can see
