'TIE ME DOWN'

                              caged.

one, two, three, four-- a thousand, a million more of those ugly bitter sweet bars.

caged,

i am caged,

today and tomorrow.

the days fly by,

unlike i,

who is locked up.

                        caged,

                                 caged,

                        caged,

i am locked up in a prison.

i am held by my own sins and mistakes,

that crawl  over my skin and poison my limbs.

caged.

one, two, three, four-- a thousand, a million more of those ugly bitter sweet bars.

        tie me down,

         cut my wrists.

           hope to drown.

             drown in bliss.

   and when morning awakes,

          the moon won't shine.

          hidden behind the sky,

where all my peers shall fly.

tie me down,

cut my lungs.

    burn my crown,

       take my soul.

         now i drown,

          in burning flames,

            on icy pavements.

              and darker days.

tie me down,
take my hand.
hold me now.
till darkness descends.
hope and pray,
for lighter days.

where dreams will roam

and star dust will flow.

now tie me down,
take my things.

push me off,
the highest place.
and watch me fall,

watch me leave.
leave this place,

of my bitter mistakes.
